Create a New project
As soon as you sign in, there are two options to create a new project:
Click “New Project” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and you will see TWO options to build your ROI model:
“From a Template” – Select this option if you find a specific technology business case relevant to your prospect or one published by a Value Engineering organization. This allows you to quickly create a customized business case tailored to your prospect’s needs. Video - 60 seconds
“Generate with AI” - leverages our LLM engine to fully automate research with minimal input. you can quickly create a customized business case tailored to your prospect. This option is recommended if you cannot find an industry-specific template in the Templates section for the product you’re selling to a new customer, prospect, or opportunity. Video - 90 seconds
The first way is by selecting “From a template”, which follows a 5-step process:
Step 1: Point to the template you want to use. You will see two buttons:
"Preview This Template" – View the details before proceeding.
"Create Project" – Click this to generate a new project based on the selected template.
Step 2: On the next screen, enter the name of your Customer Prospect.
If your CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot) is integrated, the name will be pre-filled.
If not integrated, manually enter the name and press "Next" to proceed.
Step 3: Wait 3-6 seconds for AI to complete the research and generate a new project.
Step 4: In the “Set Data Inputs” section, modify the template variables to align with your specific customer and business case. Adjust key inputs and click “Next”.
Step 5: On the next screen, review the list of benefits and:
Uncheck any benefits that do not apply to your customer.
Leave checked benefits as they are if they remain relevant.
Click "Complete" to finalize the selection.
Wait 1-2 seconds, and a single-pane dashboard generated by AI will appear. Your task is to validate each section of the tool to ensure accuracy and relevance.
The second way is by selecting “Generate with AI”, which follows a 6-step process:
Click on "Generate with AI" option.
Step 1: Fill in the name of your company. If your CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot) is not integrated, you will need to enter it manually and press Next.
Step 2: Fill in the name of your Product. If your CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot) is not integrated, you will need to enter it manually and press Next.
Step 3: fill in the name of your Customer Prospect. If your CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot) is not integrated, you will need to enter it manually and press Next.
Step 4: AI will generate a list of business processes that the seller aims to impact with their solution. Wait 2-3 seconds for the generation to complete.
Regenerate if needed by clicking the small circular arrow in the upper right corner.
Click on a process to add it to the list.
Manually enter specific process names if you already know them.
Once finalized, press "Next" to proceed.
Step 5: AI will generate a list of customer prospect pain points linked to business processes that the seller aims to impact with their solution.
Wait 2-3 seconds for AI to complete the generation.
Select the pain points that apply to your customer.
Press "Next" to proceed.
Step 6: Wait 5-8 seconds for AI to complete the research and generate a new project. After refinement and validation, this can serve as a template for selling your product to other customers in the same industry.
You will see a single-pane dashboard generated by AI. Your task is to validate each section of the tool to ensure its accuracy and relevance before proceeding.
