As soon as all desired objects are listed under Batch, they can be created and added to your view using the Create button.

Tip: You can use the Enter key to click through to the next field. This makes creating and adding objects even faster.

Add existing objects

There are two ways to add existing objects to the views,

  • From the canvas: Double-click anywhere on the canvas to open the Add object(s) drop-down.

  • From the Toolbar: Click

icon and select the Add existing objects option.

Once the Add object(s) drop-down appears,

You can either select objects from each section or search for them by entering their names. Results are displayed according to each object definition. To select an entire object definition section, check the box next to it. Objects with a future state are marked by a star icon next to them.

After selecting all the objects, click Add to View to display them.

On Architecture and Data views, when you add multiple objects to the canvas, the objects remain selected so that you can easily move the whole set to your desired location.

Also, when adding multiple objects to the canvas, you can choose to display or hide existing relationships between them. This option applies whether you're working with a new set of objects or a combination of new and existing objects already on the canvas.

The functionality is enabled by default. To disable, uncheck the box next to Display relationships of the selected objects on the view.
