Maintaining the lifecycle state of objects helps better plan the assets as they develop further.

Objects can be either Current (default) or Future state. Select the Future option to reflect how the object will look in the future after improvement.

The object lifecycle state is assigned while creating an object. You can add multiple current and future state objects simultaneously.

NOTE:

Existing objects in your repository will be assigned to the 'Current' state by default. If you use naming conventions to indicate an object's state, you need to update the object state manually.

Once these newly created objects are added to the view, current and future states are distinctly visible. The future state has a star icon next to it, along with 40% opacity.

If you manually change the object's color and opacity, these changes persist even when the object's state changes. However, the color and opacity reset to their original settings if the object is added to the view again from the repository.
