A BPMN view may contain relationships between ArchiMate objects that don't yet exist between the objects directly. When a BPMN view is made official, these additional ArchiMate relationships are added.

Note: Making a BPMN view official only adds relationships, but doesn't delete them.
When a relationship is added as part of making a BPMN view official, but for example, you later remove that relationship from the BPMN view and officialize the view again, the relationship won't be deleted.
