This guide is designed to help you keep your building listings on Valve current and accurate. From adjusting the building's general information to updating media content, we'll walk you through each necessary step to ensure your listing is up-to-date. Remember, accurate listings improve your building's attractiveness to potential tenants and brokers.

  1. Starting the Process

    • Find the building listing you wish to update and click on the "Edit" button.

    • You will see a form with 6 tabs: General, Address, Working Hours, Pricing, Amenities, and Media.

    • Navigate through each tab, updating any necessary fields.

  2. General Tab

    • Revise the Building Name or the Operator's website if necessary.

    • Update the Building Description as needed.

    • Change the Contact Email or Name if required.

    • Adjust the Visibility Settings to "Public" if you'd like Valve’s broker users to view your building.

  3. Address Tab

    • Modify the Address in the "Address Finder" field if needed. This will auto-populate details like building/street number, street, city, region, town, country, and postcode.

    • Ensure the Map Pin is accurately placed.

  4. Working Hours Tab

    • For each day of the week, click on the start and end time fields to adjust the timings.

    • Choose your updated start and end times and press OK.

    • To apply the same timings to all days, simply click "copy time to all".

  5. Pricing Tab

    • Adjust the Average Per Desk, Per Square Foot, or Per Square Meter cost in the "Quoting Rate" field if necessary.

    • Select the correct Currency from the dropdown if it has changed.

  6. Amenities Tab

    • Review the checked boxes corresponding to the amenities available at your building. Add or remove amenities as necessary.

    • Use the search bar to quickly locate specific amenities.

  7. Media Tab

    • Here, you can update your listing with new visual content such as Photos, Brochures, Virtual Tours (Matterport Only), Floor Plans, Vimeos, and Marketing Content Slides.

    • Replace or add new files into the relevant sections, or click "Add file" to select from your computer. Please remember the following specifications:

      • Photos should be JPG, PNG, or WEBP files, no larger than 10Mb.

      • Brochures can be JPG, PNG, WEBP, PDF, or PPT files, and should not exceed 20Mb.

      • Virtual Tours should be publicly available Matterport links, formatted as: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m={unique-identifier}

      • Floor Plans should be JPG, PNG, or WEBP files, no larger than 10Mb. A 3:2 Aspect Ratio or A4 Landscape layout is recommended. Make sure to associate a floor plan with the relevant floor.

      • Vimeos should be public links, formatted as: https://vimeo.com/{video-id}

      • Marketing Content Slides should be JPG, PNG, or WEBP files, no larger than 10Mb. A 3:2 Aspect Ratio or A4 Landscape layout is recommended.

  8. Marketing Content Upload Guidelines

    • To optimize the appearance of your updated Marketing Content Slides, upload them in the dimensions of A4 landscape paper.

    • We suggest using a slide editor such as PowerPoint or Google Slides, and setting the page size to A4.

  9. Finalizing Your Update

    • Once you've revised all the tabs and updated your content, click the "Save" button.

    • Your building's updated details are now live on Valve!

Keeping your listing up-to-date ensures potential clients have the most accurate information, and enhances the overall user experience on Valve. Happy updating!
