Measure 1.5 inches down from the top of the bottom hinge and position marker #1 on the template.

From marker #2 on the template, measure 1.5 inches and align accordingly.

Use a 3/16-inch drill bit to drill holes A, B, and C.

Drill hole "D" using a 1-inch hole saw.

Connect the ID scanner to its cable and feed the cable through hole "D."

Secure the ID scanner in place using the provided nuts.

Connect the USB cable from the ID scanner to the motherboard's USB port.
