Troubleshooting Common Error Codes
V00 Error Code
Indicates no communication between the machine and the Nayax device, even though the device is powered on and connected to Nayax’s servers.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Press the three horizontal lines on the card reader and select Technician Mode (default password: 123123 or 8).
2. Go to Factory Reset and select the arrow button to reset. Wait 10 minutes.
3. If the error persists, reset the default parameters using the Nayax web application.
4. Contact VapeTM Support if the issue continues.
V01 Error Code
Requires updating settings via the Nayax web application.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Click on MDB and select 06 Ignore Pre Selection.
2. Click Save, then choose Actions > Update Queue to send the configuration to the device.
3. Unplug the machine for three minutes, plug it back in, and wait.
4. Contact VapeTM Support if the error persists.
V02 Error Code
Occurs when cashless payments are not enabled.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Unplug the machine for three minutes, then plug it back in.
2. If the error persists, contact VapeTM Support.
M00 Error Code
Indicates a communication issue between the card reader and the vending machine’s controller.
Possible Causes:
• Loose or disconnected cables between the VPOS Touch and the MDB interface.
• Faulty MDB interface on the vending machine.
• Outdated or corrupted firmware.
Recommended Solutions:
1. Check Connections: Secure all cables and inspect for damage.
2. Restart the Device: Power off the vending machine for three minutes, then power it back on.
3. Update Firmware: Log in to the Nayax web application to check and install any firmware updates.
M05 Error Code
Indicates a SIM card communication error.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Remove and reinsert the SIM card.
2. In Technician Mode, select Restart Device, or restart the device via Actions > Restart Device on the Nayax web portal.
