Onramping (Depositing Crypto)
Vector Desktop doesn’t support buying crypto directly with fiat. Instead:
Click your name in the top-right corner.
Select “Receive.”
Copy your deposit address (currently only Solana chain is supported).
Go to the wallet or exchange where you already hold crypto.
Send funds to your Vector deposit address.
⚠️ Tips:
Make sure the asset you send is on Solana (not Ethereum or another chain).
Always test with a small amount first.
If you want to buy with fiat:
Use the Vector Mobile App (onramp is powered by Moonpay).
Offramping (Withdrawing Crypto)
Vector Desktop integration with Moonpay does not currently support direct offramp to fiat.
To offramp funds, a suggested flow is as follows:
Click your name in the top-right corner.
Select “Send.”
Paste your exchange deposit address (e.g., from Coinbase, Binance, Kraken).
Choose amount → press Send.
On your exchange, sell crypto for fiat and withdraw to your bank account.
⚠️ Checklist:
Double-check you copied the correct deposit address from your exchange.
Confirm you’re using the right network (Solana vs ERC-20, etc.).
Sending a test transaction can save you from costly mistakes.
