How to Add Text to a video

In this article, we will show you how to add text to a video.

  1. Head over to VEED.

  2. Create an account or Log in.

  3. Click on Create Project.

  4. Drag and drop the video to the Upload a file part of the window or click on it and you can select the file you want to upload.

  5. Wait for the video to upload.

  6. Go into the Text tab and choose from the text samples to add, or click on Regular Text.

  7. Type in the text you want.

  8. You can change the layout, color, background, font size, add animation, add effect and other options Edit Text tab.

  9. On the middle part of the Edit Text tab, you can change the options for text such as text emphasis (bold or italic), Letter spacing and height.

  10. Resize the text by dragging the dots at the corners of the selected text and move the text to where you want it by dragging it on the video canvas.

  11. To add a new text, click on + Add Another Text Box at the bottom of the Edit Text tab.
    To select another Text box for editing, click on it on the timeline.

  12. If you are finished editing, click on the Export button at the top right. The project will render and it will redirect you to the video page where you can download or share the video.
