This feature is available for all plans.

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to convert your text into speech or audio.

  1. Head over to VEED.

  2. Create an account or Log in.

  3. Click on Create Project. You can start with a Blank Canvas or upload your video

  4. Click on the Media tab and click on Text To Speech.

  5. Add and edit your texts on the Text to Speech tab.

  6. Choose the Language and Voice you prefer.

You can also click on the emoji to choose a voice style for it.

  7. Once done, click on Generate and the editor will process generating it.

The Text-To-Speech will be added as an audio clip on the timeline.

Kindly note the following current limitations:

  • The text-to-speech has a character limit of 250 for free plan users. If you are upgraded, the limit is increased up to 5000. We do not have a way to increase this. You can add another text-to-speech clip once you've met the limit.

  • Playing the preview will only play the first few text and not the whole text.

  • The languages and voices from the dropdown are the only ones available at the moment.

  • There is no option to upload a text file or any other type of file then turn it into text-to-speech. You need to type your text or paste it.

  • The subtitles on your project cannot be converted into text-to-speech at the moment. You can copy the subtitles and paste them on the text-to-speech to add it.
