Read our step-by-step instructions on how to deposit funds via SEPA transfer below.
1. Open the Veli app. There are multiple ways to find Veli’s bank account details, one of the easiest ways is to go to the “TRADE” section.
2. Press the “Deposit EUR” button to see available deposit options.
3. We want to make a deposit from our bank account so we choose “Deposit via Bank Transfer” option.
4. Here you can see all the necessary details to make a successful SEPA bank transfer to Veli.
To make the actual deposit you have to visit your online bank and follow these instructions.
You can copy each piece of data by pressing the copy icon.
When you make a transfer, you can press the “I made the deposit” button.
And that’s it!
Tips on how to make a successful SEPA bank deposit:
Make sure you are the owner of the bank account you will be sending funds from (the name on the bank account must match the name of the Veli account owner).
Make sure you have included the Reference number (the code starting with RF).
Kindly, make sure you have written correctly the beneficiary address and bank’s address (these 2 addresses are different and clearly stated among the Payment details).
Have in mind that 3rd party deposits may be rejected automatically and sent back to the original bank account, or you may be asked later for proof of payment or a bank statement when making a withdrawal.
Make sure to write letters Ö, Ü, Ä instead of O, U, A everywhere where needed. Keep in mind that all info provided about sender must match with the personal information you have provided for your Veli account.
You can make payment in EUR only, other currencies are not accepted.
Please note: SEPA bank transfers can take up to 3 business days, although they are usually done in 1-2 business days. You will receive a notification once the funds become available on your Veli balance.
