After you have successfully registered and filled in personal information, you will be able to start the identity verification process. Please follow our step-by-step guide in order to submit the appropriate documents for verification.

Before you get started:
Prepare your ID document. We accept ID cards, passports and driving licenses (residence permits, work permits are not accepted).
Prepare your Proof of Address document. It can be any utility bill (electricity, water, gas, telephone, internet, etc.), bank statement or credit/debit card statement. ID print out can be accepted also but only in the situation when you have uploaded a passport as your ID document, if you have uploaded ID card as your ID document, ID print out won’t be accepted. The document should contain your full name and residential address. Document should not be older than 3 months. The residential address on the document must match the information listed on your Veli account - the address you provided in the Veli application.
Make sure you have a high-resolution camera to take photos and videos on your mobile phone or computer
When submitting a document photo please make sure you submit a high-resolution color photo of a full page of your PASSPORT or both sides of your IDENTITY CARD or DRIVING LICENSE, all 4 corners of the document must be visible, every single data clearly readable and the photo of your face visible.
Additional NOTE:
Take the photos somewhere bright
Turn flash off to avoid glare on your documents
Do not take a picture of a picture - screenshots.
Do not upload processed/edited photos.

Step 1. Prepare your documents and press “Continue”
Step 2. To start the verification, press the “Choose document” button
Step 3. Select issuing country of your document
Step 4. Choose one of the three supported ID document types
Step 5. Take a picture of your document and press “Submit photo”
Step 6. Get ready to record a video of your face and follow the instructions to move or speak
Step 7. Center your face in the small oval and follow the instructions
Step 8. When you are done recording, press “Upload video”
Step 9. Then simply press “Submit verification”
Step 10. Next step is adding the Proof of Address (POA) document.
Step 11. Choose one of the two options provided, uploading a file, or taking a picture with a camera
Step 12. After the successful upload, next step is filling out suitability questions/ 1st: Choose the source of your funds you plan to invest
Step 13. Choose your employment status
Step 14. Enter the sector where you are employed
Step 15. Choose your expected annual transaction amount
Step 16. Choose the purpose of opening your Veli account
Step 17. Choose your estimated net worth
Step 18. That’s it, your documents have been successfully submitted.
*Document review process typically lasts up to 1 working day.
