Admin users can assume (log in as) another user to see exactly what that user sees: their dashboards, reports and the data they have access to. Use it to check a new account before you send the welcome email, or to troubleshoot a user's problem. You do not need the user's password.
How to assume as a user
Log in with Admin credentials.
Open Setup | Users.
Select the down arrow next to the user account and choose Assume as this user.
Check the user's access, especially dashboards and reports.
When you are done, exit the session with the crossed-out profile icon next to the username in the top menu.
Use it responsibly
While you assume a user, you are working inside a real user's account. Anything you change counts as if that user did it. Only use it for setup checks and troubleshooting, and exit as soon as you are finished.
When to contact support
If Assume as this user is missing from the menu, or the session does not end when you click the exit icon, email support@vemcogroup.com with your username and the user you tried to assume.
