The Data Manager lets Admins view, correct, import, and export raw sensor counting data. Use it when a sensor goes offline and data needs to be manually entered, or when historical figures need correcting.

Path: ⚙ Settings → Data Manager

Viewing raw data

  1. Select the location and date range.

  2. The table shows hourly count data: timestamp, count-in, and count-out values.

  3. Zero values or sudden spikes are highlighted — review these before exporting or reporting.

Editing data

  1. Click the cell you want to correct.

  2. Enter the corrected value.

  3. Add a comment explaining the reason (this is logged in the Activity Log for audit purposes).

  4. Click Save Changes.

Importing data (CSV/Excel)

  1. Click Import.

  2. Upload a CSV or Excel file with historical count data.

  3. Map the columns to the correct fields: timestamp, count-in, count-out.

  4. Run the preview to verify values before committing.

  5. Click Confirm import.

Exporting data

Select a location and date range → click Export → choose CSV or Excel format. All raw hourly data for the selected period is downloaded.

Warning: Data corrections affect all dashboards, reports, and KPIs retroactively from that date. Always double-check values before saving bulk edits. All edits are logged with the editing user's name, timestamp, and comment — this creates a permanent audit trail.

Simple footfall tool

The Data Manager also includes a Simple Footfall section for locations that submit data manually (e.g. paper tally sheets). Use the import template to upload counts in a simplified format without requiring full timestamp-level data.
