Default User Settings

Path: ⚙ Settings → Companies → [Company] → Employee Settings → Default User Settings

Sets company-wide defaults applied to all new users. Individual users can override these in their own profile:

Timezone

Full IANA timezone list — sets the default timezone for all new user accounts

First day of week

Monday or Sunday — affects weekly report periods and calendar display

Time format

12-hour or 24-hour

Fiscal year start date

Month and day — affects year-based reporting periods

Temperature

Celsius or Fahrenheit — for weather widgets

Area unit

m² or ft² — for visitors-per-area metric

Number grouping / decimal format

1,000.00 (EN) or 1.000,00 (EU) formatting

Best practice: Always set the correct timezone and fiscal year before creating users. These defaults are applied at account creation — they do not retroactively update existing users.

Sensor Export (automated CSV/FTP feeds)

Path: ⚙ Settings → Companies → [Company] → Data Management → Sensor Export

Sensor Export creates automated scheduled data feeds that push raw counting data to an FTP server or downloadable CSV on a set schedule. Useful for BI tool integrations, ERP systems, or custom analytics pipelines.

The export list shows columns: Name, Sensor Interval, Send Time, Comment, with green/red dots indicating active/inactive status.

  1. Click + New Sensor Export

  2. Name the export (e.g. footfall_export_{export_date}.csv)

  3. Select the sensors or locations to include

  4. Set the data interval (hourly, daily)

  5. Set the send time (e.g. 00:30 for an end-of-hour export)

  6. Configure the FTP destination or download settings

  7. Save — the export runs automatically on schedule

Custom Fields

Path: ⚙ Settings → Companies → [Company] → Customisation → Custom Fields

Add custom metadata fields to locations or sensors — for example, a store format field (Small/Medium/Large), a region field, or a contract reference number. Custom fields appear in export data and can be used for filtering in some report views.

Email Templates

Path: ⚙ Settings → Companies → [Company] → Customisation → Email Templates

Customise the automated emails sent by the platform — welcome emails, scheduled report emails, and health alert notifications. Edit the subject line and body text to match your company's communication style. Supports template variables such as {user_name}, {company_name}, and {login_url}.

Location management views

Locations With Assigned Users

Lists all locations that have at least one user with access — useful for auditing access scope

Locations With No Assigned Users

Locations with no user access assigned — these locations will show no data to any user. Review and assign users or deactivate

Locations With No Sales Terminals

Locations missing a POS/sales terminal link — these cannot submit or receive turnover data for the Tenant module
