The VS133-P uses wired Ethernet with HTTP push directly to Vemcount. It is the simplest Milesight integration — no gateway needed, no LoRa credentials. Requires firmware v133.1.0.8 or later.
What you need before starting
VS133-P powered and connected to a network with internet access
Firmware v133.1.0.8 or later (check in System → Device Info)
Outbound TCP 443 allowed to data.vemcount.com
Login access to Vemcount (Admin role)
Step 1 — Configure HTTP data push on the sensor
Log in to the VS133-P web interface (enter the sensor's IP address in your browser).
Go to Communicate → Data Push Settings.
Click + Add and fill in:
Recipient Name | Any descriptive name (e.g. "Vemcount") |
Report Protocol | HTTP(S) |
URL |
|
Username / Password | Leave blank |
Trigger Report | ON |
Periodic Report | ON |
Report Scheme | From Now On |
Period | 1 minute (for initial testing; increase to 5–15 min for production) |
Click Save.
Refresh the page — if the status shows green (Connected), the push is working.
Step 2 — Get the MAC address
In the VS133-P interface, go to System → Device Info.
Copy the MAC Address.
Step 3 — Set up company structure in Vemcount
Create or navigate to the Company, Location, and Installation Zone where this sensor will be placed (same as any other sensor setup).
Step 4 — Register VS133-P in Vemcount
Go to ⚙ Settings → Devices → + Add sensor.
Fill in:
Name | Descriptive name (e.g. "VS133-P — Back Entrance") |
Subscription | Select from dropdown |
Type | People Counter |
MAC | MAC address from Step 2 |
Vendor | Milesight |
Leave all other fields blank.
Click Submit.
Step 5 — Verify live data
Wait 1–2 minutes. Check the Installation Zone — people counts should start arriving. If not, confirm the HTTP push status is green on the sensor and that TCP 443 outbound to data.vemcount.com is not blocked by your firewall.
