Milesight AM series sensors measure indoor air quality — CO2, temperature, humidity, TVOC, PM2.5, and more. These connect to Vemcount as IoT data sources and display via the Realtime IoT widget, enabling combined dashboards showing both footfall and environmental data on the same screen.

AM series model overview

AM102 / AM102L

2-in-1 IAQ sensor. CO2 + temperature + humidity. Compact wall-mount. LoRaWAN or PoE. Best for meeting rooms and small offices.

AM103 / AM103L

3-in-1 IAQ sensor. CO2 + temperature + humidity + barometric pressure. LoRaWAN or PoE.

AM300 Series

All-in-1 IAQ sensor. Up to 7 parameters: CO2, temperature, humidity, TVOC, PM2.5, light, barometric pressure. Built-in e-ink display. LoRaWAN or PoE. Best for open offices, schools, and any space where air quality visibility matters.

Metrics available in Vemcount Realtime widget

% relative humidity

TVOC

Total volatile organic compounds — air quality index

PM2.5

Fine particle matter — air quality for health monitoring

Light level

Lux — ambient light intensity

Barometric pressure

hPa

Adding AM series data to a Vemcount dashboard

  1. Register the sensor in Vemcount: ⚙ Settings → Devices → + Add sensor → enter DevEUI (LoRaWAN) or MAC address (Ethernet) → Vendor: Milesight → submit.

  2. Ensure data is flowing: check Settings → Devices → confirm sensor shows green (online).

  3. On your dashboard, click + → Widget → Realtime.

  4. Select Source Type → choose the AM sensor → select the metric (CO2, Temperature, Humidity, etc.).

  5. Give the widget a clear title (e.g. "Meeting Room A — CO2") and save.

  6. Optionally add a widget alert (three-dot menu → Alerts → + Add alert → Max value → e.g. 1000 ppm → WhatsApp or email action) to be notified when CO2 exceeds safe levels.

Combined dashboard tip: Put an AM300 CO2 widget, a Live Inside occupancy widget, and a visitors chart widget on the same dashboard for a complete smart office view. When CO2 rises alongside high occupancy, you know ventilation is needed. This is a strong Vemcount use case for office and education customers.

CO2 level reference

< 600 ppm

Excellent — fresh outdoor air level

600–1000 ppm

Good — typical well-ventilated office

1000–1500 ppm

Moderate — consider increasing ventilation

> 1500 ppm

Poor — open windows or activate HVAC. Alert threshold recommended.
