VERA, the Vemco support assistant, can look up and analyse your own Vemcount data while you chat, so you get answers, comparisons and recommendations without opening a report.
Included in Vemcount Pro
Data analysis by VERA is included in Vemcount Pro (and in Vemcount Track and VemFusion), which include API access. During your trial you can try it for free; after the trial period has expired it continues with the available credits in your Pro licence. If you are on another licence, VERA will tell you and can connect you with our team about upgrading.
What you can ask
"How many visitors did we have last week?"
"Show me visitors per day this month."
"Which of our locations was busiest yesterday?"
"How does last week compare to the week before?"
"How busy will we be next week?" (forecast)
"How many people are inside right now?"
"What was our conversion rate last month?" (if you send sales data to Vemcount)
"When are our peak hours, and what should we do about it?"
VERA understands periods such as today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, last month, this year, next week, next month, or an exact date range.
Several stores? Just reply with a number
If your account has more than one location, VERA lists them with numbers, for example:
Which location do you mean?
1. City Centre
2. Airport
3. Outlet
4. All locations
Reply with 1, 2, 3 or 4; you do not need to type the store name. VERA does the same for other choices, such as the period or the metric, so you can answer with a single number.
What VERA reports
Visitors (people entering), visitors out, and people currently inside
Sales metrics when available: transactions, turnover, conversion rate, sales per visitor, average basket
Queue metrics when available: queue length and average wait time
Totals, per-day or per-hour breakdowns, busiest and quietest times, week-over-week and month-over-month changes
Forecasts for next week or next month (marked as predictions)
Analysis and recommendations
Ask VERA for insights and she will point out patterns in your data: your busiest and quietest days and hours, how traffic is trending, whether conversion follows visitor numbers, and when queues build up. She suggests where this matters for staffing, opening hours and campaign timing. Specific decisions such as staff numbers or prices remain yours.
Which data VERA can see
VERA only has access to the locations linked to the Vemcount company you are logged in with. She cannot show data for other companies or locations, and she never needs you to provide IDs or API keys. If a location you expect is missing, ask your Vemcount administrator to check your location access, or contact Vemco support.
Good to know
Numbers come straight from Vemcount, the same as in your dashboard, but may be rounded in the chat.
If a metric is not collected at a location (for example no sales feed), VERA will say so rather than show a zero.
For exports, charts and scheduled delivery, use the Reports section in Vemcount. See Setting up a custom report and Scheduled email reports.
