Your customers enjoy a wide array of payment methods when completing transactions.
Here's an overview of the various payment methods available on Vendy:
1. CARDS
Customers can smoothly complete payment transactions using local and international card schemes. Once card details are entered for the initial transaction, the card becomes tokenized and securely stored as a payment option. This means that for subsequent payments, customers won't need to re-enter their card details, as it will already be presented as one of the available payment options.
How to Add Card:
The user inputs card details: card number, expiry, and CVV; clicks on "Add Card" and the card is successfully added to the Vendy platform
STEPS
The User selects Cards as the preferred payment method.
Enter a PIN, token, OTP, or any other authentication method required by the card provider and bank. The system verifies the entry in the previous step and completes the transaction
2. PAY WITH TRANSFER
With this payment method, end users can make payments by transferring funds to a temporary account number. The process is seamless and efficient, as payments are instantly marked as successful once the transferred funds are detected in the temporary account.
STEPS
The user clicks the ‘pay buttnn’ and a list of all the payment methods available is presented.
Select Pay with Transfer as the preferred payment method.
A temporary account is provided for a one-time bank transfer. Please note: the temporary account expires after 30 minutes and is good for just one transaction.
The transaction is instantly marked as successful once the transferred funds are detected in the temporary account.
A payment receipt is generated.
3. APPLE PAY
Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service developed by Apple Inc. It allows users to make payments using compatible Apple devices, such as iPhones, Apple Watches, iPads, and Macs.
iOS users can complete payment transactions seamlessly on Vendy using Apple Pay.
4. VENDY DIRECT
Our propriety payment method displays all bank accounts or mobile money wallets connected to a customer's phone number. Customers can easily select their preferred payment source from the provided list of options.
STEPS
Click the ‘pay button’ and a list of all the payment methods available is presented.
Select Vendy Direct as the preferred payment method.
All the customer's banks or mobile money wallets tied to the phone number are presented
The customer selects a preferred account or wallet
Authorizes payment by inputting a pin, token, or OTP as required by the bank.
The transaction is completed.
A payment receipt is generated.
5. VENDY CONNECT
Customers can easily add and save their own bank accounts, which are tokenized within the Vendy platform. These added bank account(s) will be displayed as part of the customer's available sources of value when they want to complete payments on Vendy.
STEPS
The user clicks the ‘pay button’ and a list of all the payment methods available is presented.
Select Connect Bank as the preferred payment method.
The user inputs the bank details& information and connects the bank account to the Vendy platform
Authorizes payment
Transaction is complete
A payment receipt is generated.
