With Vendy, businesses can easily upload and manage their inventory, ensuring that your product information is always up-to-date and accessible. This guide will walk you through the steps to upload your inventory and utilize the Inventory feature on the Vendy platform.
Step-by-Step Guide to Uploading Your Inventory:
Access the Inventory Section:
Log in to your dashboard
Navigate to the Inventory section on the left-hand menu. This is where you can view all your products and manage your inventory.
Adding a New Product:
To add a new product, click the Add Product button at the top right corner of the Inventory page.
This will take you to the Add Product page, where you can input all the necessary details for your new item.
Entering Product Details:
On the Add Product page, you will need to fill out several fields to accurately describe your product:
Upload Item Media: Add images of your product to make it visually appealing for your customers.
Item Type: Specify the type of product you are adding.
Item Name: Enter the name of your product.
Item Category: Select the appropriate category for your product.
Sub Category: Choose a sub-category if applicable.
Product Description: Provide a detailed description of your product.
Unit Label: Indicate the unit of measurement (e.g., piece, pack, etc.).
Item Amount: Enter the price of your product.
Item Quantity: Specify the number of units available in your inventory.
Item Metadata: Include any additional information or specifications about the product.
Saving Your Product:
Once all the required fields are filled out, click the Save Product button at the top right corner of the page.
Your product will now appear in the All Products tab in the Inventory section.
Managing Your Inventory:
You can view all your uploaded products under the All Products tab.
Use the Filter and Sort options to organize your inventory and quickly find specific products.
To edit or delete a product, click the three dots (•••) next to the product name and select the appropriate action.
Please note that after uploading new inventory items, it takes a couple of minutes for them to appear in your shop on WhatsApp.
