Credit balances can look different depending on the credit type and your plan's banking rules:
Monthly plan credits refresh each billing cycle. Pro monthly credits do not bank beyond the cycle. Pro+ includes 2-month credit banking and Max includes 3-month credit banking.
Pro Plan: Includes 100 credits per month. Non-premium models are unlimited.
Pro+ Plan: Offers 7,500 credits per month.
Max Plan: Provides 22,500 credits per month.
Monthly credits are issued upon subscription renewal. However, the balance counter may not refresh immediately. To verify your credits, navigate to Settings → Usage, where the issued credits are listed.
When a subscription ends, bundled plan credits expire with it. Only purchased credit packs remain on your account after cancellation.
Purchased USD credits do not reset and remain until used.
DIEM-backed API credits refresh daily at 12:01 AM UTC.
If your balance still looks wrong, first verify the login method used at checkout (e.g., if purchased via Google, ensure you sign in with the "Sign in with Google" option for the same Google account). Then, refresh the page and log out and back in. If the issue persists, contact support with the balance you expected, the balance you see, when it changed, and whether the credits came from a monthly plan, a purchase, a referral, or DIEM staking.
Why the credit total looks different in the app
If the number shown in the bottom-left corner of Venice doesn't match the "plan credits" figure in your settings, that's expected — they're showing different things.
The bottom-left total combines all three of these credit buckets into a single aggregate balance for a quick at-a-glance view. "Plan credits" in settings shows only your monthly subscription allotment.
For example, if you have 517 plan credits and 3,500 USD credits, the bottom-left total will show ~4,017 — even if your plan credits are nearly used up.
To see each bucket broken down separately, go to Settings → API.
