Web Search lets Venice bring in current information from the web. It is enabled by default.
You can manage it in Text Settings by clicking the settings icon in the prompt bar, and you can also toggle it per conversation from the prompt bar settings. When enabled, Venice can use privacy-preserving search providers, including Brave with zero data retention and anonymized Google search.
If a response seems to be missing current information, check that Web Search has not been turned off for that conversation.
