A 401 error means the request is not authenticating, usually because the API key is missing or invalid. Check that:
Your request includes the
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEYheader.The key is correct and has not been deleted (see your active keys at venice.ai/settings/api).
You are logged into the account that owns the key when checking it.
An API key does not need to be attached to a paid subscription. Free accounts can use the API too; you just need API credits or staked DIEM on the account to make calls. A newly created key works immediately. If the issue persists, generate a new key and try again.
