DIEM is a tokenized compute unit equal to $1 per day of Venice API credit. It is an ERC-20 token minted from sVVV (staked VVV). Holding DIEM gives you predictable inference capacity on the Venice API, or the ability to trade that capacity with others. DIEM is not a stablecoin and is not pegged to USD; its market price may move, but each DIEM always provides $1 per day of Venice API credit when staked.
