Live Voice (Voice Mode) time is a plan allowance for each 30-day period:
Free: 0 Live Voice hours
Pro: 1 hour per 30 days (3,600 seconds)
Pro Plus: 5 hours per 30 days (18,000 seconds)
Max: 20 hours per 30 days (72,000 seconds)
These limits are separate from other plan allowances and apply specifically to Live Voice / Voice Mode usage. The quota resets on a rolling 30-day basis rather than at a fixed calendar date.
If a Free user upgrades to Pro, that grants 1 hour of Live Voice access for the 30-day period. If an active paid user sees a Live Voice limit message after using their included hours, the subscription is still active; the account has reached the Live Voice allowance for the current 30-day period.
Purchased credits do not reset or extend the Live Voice time allowance. Credits are used for premium/pay-per-use features such as video generation, music, frontier models, premium image models, and API usage.
If you frequently hit your Live Voice limit, you can increase your allowance by upgrading to a higher-tier plan from the Subscriptions tab in the app — restart the app after upgrading so the new allowance applies. Otherwise, practical options are: wait for the Live Voice allowance to reset, or use credits on pay-per-use features instead. Current plan details: venice.ai/pricing
