Adding Individual Investors

Add Individual Investors in Venture360

Objective

This SOP explains how to add individual investors in the Venture360 platform and control when invitation emails are sent. It helps ensure investors are entered correctly and that Setup Mode is configured based on whether you want emails sent immediately or later.

  • Go to Settings.

  • Click General.

  • Under the Onboarding heading, locate Setup Mode.

  • Disable Setup Mode if you want invitations to send immediately.

  • Enable Setup Mode if you want to add everyone first and send invitations later.

Cautionary Notes

  • Verify email addresses carefully before clicking Add Individual to avoid sending invitations to the wrong recipient.

  • Check Setup Mode before bulk adding investors so you do not accidentally delay or trigger invitations at the wrong time.

  • If Setup Mode is enabled, remember that invitations must be sent later after all records are added.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Add investors in batches if you plan to keep Setup Mode enabled and send invitations afterward.

  • Confirm the platform’s onboarding setting before starting to save time and prevent rework.

  • Use a consistent naming and data-entry process to reduce errors when entering multiple investors.
