Configuration Settings Guide

The Configuration Settings page in Venture360 allows fund admins to customize and control various aspects of their platform experience. Below is an overview of each section and the available options.


1. Entrepreneur Applications

  • URL for Entrepreneur and Investor Registration: This is the link where entrepreneurs and investors can register for the platform. It can be shared directly with users.

  • Default Entrepreneur Application: Choose the default application type that entrepreneurs will see when registering or submitting their details.


2. Deal Pipeline

Customize how the deal pipeline is displayed and accessed by investors and admins:

  • Allow Investors to View Deal Pipeline:

    • Enable: Investors can view deals associated with their group.

    • Disable: Only group admins can view deals.

  • Segment Deal Pipeline:

    • Enable: Split the deal pipeline into two sections—one visible to admins and the other to investors.

    • Disable: Keep a unified view of the deal pipeline for all users.

  • Entrepreneur Registration Through URL Above:

    • Allow: Entrepreneurs can register using the specified URL.

    • Disable: Registration via the URL will be blocked.

  • Accept Shared Deals from Other Groups/Companies:

    • Yes: Allow other groups or companies to share deals with your group.

    • No: Prevent shared deals from other groups.


3. Companies

Control how investors interact with company profiles:

  • Allow Investors to View Companies & Company Profiles:

    • Enable: Investors can view company profiles associated with the group.

    • Disable: Only group admins can view company profiles.

  • Enable Discussions on All Companies:

    • Allow: Investors can discuss companies on the platform.

    • Disable: Discussions on company profiles are disabled.


4. Investors

Manage visibility and registration settings for investors:

  • Investor Registration Through URL Above:

    • Allow: Enable investor registration via the provided URL.

    • Disable: Disable investor registration through this method.

  • Investor Visibility to Other Investors:

    • Show: Allow investors to see each other’s profiles.

    • Block: Restrict visibility to only admins.

  • Subgroup Visibility for Investors:

    • Show: Allow investors to see subgroups.

    • Block: Hide subgroup visibility from investors.

  • Require Investors to Define Self Accreditation:

    • Require: Investors must provide self-accreditation information before accessing deals.

    • Make Optional: Accreditation is optional for investors.

  • Automatically Send Weekly Registration Email Reminders to Unregistered Investors:

    • Enabled: Sends weekly reminders to new investors for three weeks.

    • Disabled: Stops reminders after one initial email.

  • Allow Periodic AML Checks on Investors:

    • Enable: Run regular AML verifications and display them in the investor list.

    • Disable: Skip periodic AML checks.


5. Invoices

  • Automatically Send Weekly Email Reminders for Past Due Invoices:

    • Enabled: Send weekly reminders for overdue invoices.

    • Disabled: Disable overdue invoice reminders.


6. Signatures

  • Automatically Send Email Reminders for Past Due Signatures:

    • Enabled: Send reminders for overdue signatures.

    • Disabled: Disable signature reminders.


7. Discussions

  • Sort Discussions App Wide:

    • Oldest to Newest: Display discussions starting with the oldest posts.

    • Newest to Oldest: Display discussions starting with the most recent posts.


How to Save Your Changes

Once you’ve configured your settings, click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
