Merge duplicate individual investors in Venture360

If you find duplicate entries for the same investor in your platform, you can merge them to consolidate their information into one profile. Here’s how to do it:

Step-by-Step Guide:

  • Navigate to the "Investors" tab in the top menu.

  • Identify the two duplicate investor entries:

    • Determine which profile you want to keep. This will become the master profile.

  • Return to the master profile (the one you want to keep):

    • Click the three-dot menu next to the investor's name.

    • Select the "Merge" option from the dropdown.

  • Enter the Investor ID of the duplicate profile into the empty field.

  • Click "Confirm and Merge" to consolidate the two profiles.

Important Notes:

  • Merging investors is only available for individual investor profiles, not associated entities.

  • After merging, all information from the duplicate profile will be transferred to the master profile, and the duplicate will be deleted.

By following these steps, you can maintain a clean and organized investor database.
