Step 1: Navigate to Your Investment Company
Select Your Company:
Go to the company in which you invested.
Click on the company name to open its profile.
Access the Distribution Tab:
Within the company profile, navigate to the Distribution section.
Step 2: Initiate a New Disbursement
Start a New Disbursement:
Click the New Disbursement button.
Select Your Investment:
Choose one of your previous investments from the available options.
Note: You may only have one available investment to select.
Choose the Disbursement Type:
Depending on your investment type, different options will appear in the drop-down menu.
For a Seed Investment: Options include cash, dividend, or stock sale.
For a Convertible Note Investment: Options include principal and interest.
Step 3: Enter Disbursement Details
Set the Distribution Date:
Input the date on which the distribution is being made.
Add Applicable Notes:
Enter any notes relevant to the distribution.
Enter Amounts:
Input the principal and interest amounts.
Alternatively, you can input a total amount to be allocated automatically, or manually split the amounts between principal and interest.
Step 4: Review and Make the Disbursement
Review the Details:
At the bottom of the page, verify that all details are correct.
Submit the Disbursement:
Click Make Disbursement.
This action will move you to your SPV.
Step 5: Finalize Distribution in Your SPV
Access Your SPV:
Click on the SPB name.
Navigate to Distributions:
Go to Distributions and select Received from Portfolio.
Locate the distribution you just created.
Distribute or Recycle Funds:
Click Distribute or Recycle next to the distribution entry.
Step 6: Configure Investor Distribution Settings
Notification & Record Options:
Choose whether to send a notification to your investors or simply record the distribution.
If notifying, you can enter custom email content for your investors.
Set Distribution Details:
Confirm the distribution date.
Specify if the funds are recallable.
Select the type (e.g., cash).
Allocate Amounts to Investors:
The total distribution amount will be shown.
It will automatically be allocated to your investors.
You can adjust the percentage allocation if a custom distribution is needed.
Save the Distribution:
Once all details are entered as desired, click Save Distribution.
