How to Add Staff Schedules

Inputting employee schedules is a crucial step for setting up your facility and streamlining future scheduling. In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of setting up their schedules.


Adding Schedule

1. Go to the Team page on left side of the screen

2. Ensure Company Staff is selected at the top

3. Locate the employee whose Schedule you want to input. Click + Add

4. From here you will choose the appropriate schedule type; Set Days, Rotation, Flexible (PRN), or Non-active


Set Days

Assigned to work on specific, consistent days each week

1. Click the add icon (+) to set the team member’s scheduled days and shifts

2. Click + Week if their rotation includes different shifts in the second week

Note: You can add additional weeks as needed

3. Click the add icon (+) to set the team member’s scheduled days and shifts for the second week


Rotation

Scheduled to work a fixed number of days on and off

1. Click the + Shift Cycle

2. Input the number of Days On and Days Off, then choose their assigned Shift

3. Choose the Effective Date to ensure the rotating schedule aligns with the correct days


Flexible (PRN)

Schedule not known in advance, for employees who choose to pick up shifts

Note: Marking someone as Flexible (PRN) will create a group that you can quickly message when sharing available shifts.


Non-active

Employed at the facility but not going to be assigned any shifts


Default Areas

1. Click on the Area dropdown

2. Choose whether they will be on a Rotation or Set Days

3. Select the Areas they will work in


Recurring Notes

1. Click on the Notes dropdown

2. Choose whether they will be on a Rotation or Set Days

3. Select or enter the Notes

Saving the Schedule

1. At the bottom right of the modal select Update Schedule. The Apply going forward toggle will make the changes apply to the current published schedule.

After selecting Update Schedule, you will be all set!
