TL;DR: We use your column titles to match your data to it's correct spot in your spreadsheet. Only the titles matter; the order doesn't matter, and missing columns don't matter.
If you're trying to upload your own spreadsheet to our Bulk Request process, you'll need to make sure your column titles match. Read on to learn more about what that means!
What are "column titles"?
Column titles are the titles found at the top of your spreadsheet column. See an example below!
What does "matching" mean here?
The title of your relevant columns (for example, target keyphrase) must match ours exactly, word for word. For example:
π« Target Keyphrases =/= Target keyphrase
π« Keyphrases =/= Target keyphrase
If your column title doesn't match ours, the information in that column will not be imported into your Bulk Request spreadsheet.
What if I don't need all of these columns?
The Bulk Request spreadsheet has a lot of columns, and you may not need all of them! This is perfectly fine. Your import will only bring in columns that match our columns. For example:
Your spreadsheet might have three columns: "Content Title", "Target Keyphrase", and "Delivery Date". Your import would bring in information from the "Content Title" and "Target Keyphrase" columns since they match ours, and the rest would be blank.
Your spreadsheet might have one column: "Content Title". Your import would bring in information from the "Content Title" column since it matches ours, and the rest would be blank.
Are there any exceptions to this rule?
Yes, only one! The "Total Order" column title is restricted, so this data will never copy over. This ensures that you're always seeing an accurate price.
