Wearing the sensor should be fine in normal day-to-day activities, especially if you are mindful of having it on in situations where it might be at risk of becoming dislocated.

If you do sports that include contact with your arm and/or you sweat excessively, you can put sports tape on top for extra protection. To be absolutely sure the sensor stays put, you might want to avoid contact sports while wearing the sensor.
