Q: Why do I need to verify my identity?
🛡️ Vetano is built on trust. Every user must verify their identity using a government-issued ID (driver’s license or passport). This step protects everyone by eliminating fake profiles, scams, and spam. You’ll need to verify your ID before sending messages, appearing in search, or unlocking full access.
Q: When do I verify my ID?
ID verification is the final step. You can build your profile first, but won’t be able to interact until you’re verified.
Q: Is my phone number shared with other users?
No. Your phone number is only used for secure login. Other users only see your contact info after you accept a Connection request.
📲 Logging In & Account Setup
Q: How do I log in for the first time?
Enter your phone number and verify it with the code we text you. Then select your role (Talent or Employer).
Q: Can I switch between Talent and Employer roles?
Not currently. If you want to use both, create two accounts with separate phone numbers. (Influencer and Client roles are coming soon.)

Q: What should I include in my Vetano profile?
Your profile must include:
Name and tagline
Bio (max 1,000 characters)
Career timeline
Intro video (required)
Skill showcase videos or photos (required)
Attachments (licenses, certs, resume, awards, testimonials)
Contact info (shared only after a Connection is accepted)

Q: What kind of video should I upload as my intro?
Use your intro video to tell your story — who you are, what you do, and what makes you different. This video is the first thing people see and should clearly show your personality and strengths.
Q: What is the skill showcase for?
It’s where you prove your work visually — with videos or images that show transformations, techniques, finished results, or tutorials.
Q: How do I apply for jobs?
Go to the Explore tab, browse listings, and tap “Apply Now.” Applying is free and doesn’t use Connections.
Q: How do I reach out to someone directly?
You can send a Connection request to employers, influencers, or other talent — even if there’s no job posted. Connections are paid and refunded if not accepted.
Q: How will I know if an employer is interested in me?
You’ll receive a Connection request. If you accept, a private chat will open so you can message and share contact info.

Q: What should I include on my company profile?
To attract top talent, include:
Company name and tagline
Bio (overview, values, hiring focus)
Optional: Company video
Optional: Photos or media of your shop or team
Address and contact details
ID verification (required to post jobs and message talent)
Q: How do I post jobs?
After completing your company profile, tap “Post Job” from your dashboard.
🆓 Job posting is free during early access — and companies that join now will be grandfathered into free job posts permanently.
Q: How do I contact a candidate?
If they haven’t applied, you’ll need to send a Connection request. If they accept, you can chat directly.
Q: What happens if a candidate doesn’t accept my Connection?
If they don’t respond within 24 hours, your Connection is refunded automatically as credit.
Q: Do Connections expire?
No — your unused Connections stay in your account until you’re ready to use them.
Q: Can multiple people manage our company account?
Not yet. Multi-user profiles are planned in a future update.

Q: What is a Connection?
A Connection is a paid invitation to chat. It includes a short message and is only used if the recipient accepts. It’s how Vetano keeps outreach intentional and verified.
Q: Who uses Connections?
Employers, Talent, Influencers, and Clients (coming soon) all use Connections to start trusted, secure communication.
Q: How much do they cost?
5 Connections → $379
10 Connections → $599
20 Connections → $999
Q: Do I get my Connection back if it’s ignored?
Yes. If not accepted in 24 hours, you get a full credit refund.

Q: How do I buy more Connections?
Go to Settings → Buy More Connections and choose your package.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Vetano does not store your payment info directly.
⚙️ Privacy & Account Management
Q: Can I delete my account?
Yes — go to Settings → Delete Account to permanently close your profile.
Q: How do I manage notifications?
From Settings, you can turn push notifications on or off.

Q: Where can I get help if I have an issue?
In the app, go to Settings → Contact Support. Our team will respond quickly to resolve your problem.
Q: I didn’t receive my login code. What do I do?
Make sure your phone has service and that the number is correct. Tap Resend Code or contact support if the issue continues.
