Understanding the different user roles

How to know which role to assign your user

This article details the various user roles and their permissions for each module within VetLogix.

There are 6 preset roles that users can be assigned:

  1. Administrator: This role is for practice mangers, partners or owners. This is the only role that allows for full access to clinic finances/reports.

  2. Administrative: This role is for receptionists or office managers. Users associated with this role cannot conduct work orders or be on the schedule.

  3. Veterinarian: This role is intended for veterinarians.

  4. Technician: This role is intended for vet techs.

  5. Consultant: This role is for veterinarians offering specialized services for a practice (e.g., nutrition consults)

  6. Client: This would be a farm level user; currently only applicable for the HerdLogix app.
