📊 Inventory Worksheets – Smarter & More Accurate
We’ve redesigned the worksheet experience to make it easier to manage discrepancies and keep records consistent. With the required Admin setup complete, you can take inventory in both the Admin and Scheduling apps.
See Differences Clearly
Worksheets now show both the on hand count and the counted value for each product configuration by Storage Location.
Apply Adjustment Reasons
When adjusting a count, you’ll now be prompted to select a reason (e.g., shrinkage, expired, used in services). This ensures inventory changes are easy to understand later.
Run The Reports
New inventory-related reports in the Reports tab give you clear visibility into adjustment history.
Loss tracking: "How many doses of Draxxin were lost to shrinkage this quarter?"
Usage analysis: "How many Vaccines were marked as “Expired” last month?"
Compliance/audit: "Show all adjustments for Controlled Substances, grouped by adjustment reason."
Inventory accuracy: "Which locations have the highest count discrepancies over time?"
💡 Tip
If you see a message saying that an adjustment can’t be submitted, check that Inventory Adjustment Reasons are set up in the Admin app. This setup requires an Administrator user type.
In the Admin app, go to:
Configuration → GL Accounts → Account Mapping
From there, assign Inventory Adjustment Reasons to their corresponding GL Accounts (you may need to update your GL Accounts table first).
🚀 What’s Next
This release is part of the larger Inventory 2.0 initiative. Coming soon, you’ll see further enhancements for support for decimal or fractional units in Work Orders & Invoices. We'll continue enhancing Treatment Protocols & the HerdLogix mobile app to keep your Calf Health Program on target.
