VetLogix 2.10.1

This update introduces Route of Administration and withdrawal tracking on your product records and a new Documents section for clients, along with updates across inventory, charting, and billing.

What's New in 2.10.1

Product Records

  • Route of Administration and Withdrawal

    • You can now record a Route of Administration and set meat and milk withdrawal times directly on your product records.

  • Withdrawal Safety Flag

    • If a withdrawal you enter is shorter than the recognized regulatory reference for that product, VetLogix flags it so you can double-check it before it takes effect. Your entered values always stay in control and are never changed for you.

Client Records

  • Client Documents

    • Client profiles now include a Documents section. Upload, view, download, and manage files on the record in the Admin app, and view or download them from the Scheduling mobile app while you're on the go.

Inventory

  • Inventory Count Worksheet Refresh

    • The inventory count worksheet has a cleaner, faster interface for creating, editing, and reviewing counts.

  • Reject a Worksheet

    • Administrators can now send a submitted worksheet back for edits with a required reason. The author sees a message explaining why and can update and resubmit.

Charting

  • Expanded Charting Template PDF

    • The Charting Template PDF now includes additional client and animal details to support your record-keeping.

Billing

  • Invoice Bundle Quantity

    • You can again set a Bundle Quantity when adding a bundle to an invoice on Admin app, and each item updates accordingly.

  • Price List Improvements

    • When more than one price list applies to a product, the most recent applicable list is now used. Expiring price lists now suspend at the correct time for your practice's time zone.

  • Corrected Invoice PDF

    • We corrected an issue where an extra empty line item could appear on some invoice PDFs.

Mobile

  • Service Selector Input

    • We fixed a quantity field in the service selector that could be hard to read or enter values in, especially on Android mobile devices.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I'm still experiencing issues mentioned in this release?

First, try refreshing your browser (web app) or restarting the mobile app. If issues persist, please contact our support team at help@vetlogix.io or through your regular support channels.

How do I record a Route of Administration or withdrawal time?

When you set up or edit a product, you can select a Route of Administration and enter meat and milk withdrawal times. These appear on the product record and are used wherever that product is applied.

Does the withdrawal flag stop me from saving a product?

No. The flag is informational. If a withdrawal you enter is shorter than the recognized regulatory reference for that product, VetLogix shows a flag so you can double-check it, but it never blocks you from saving and never changes the value you entered.

Where can I store documents for a client?

Each client profile now has a Documents section. Practice staff can upload, view, download, and manage files in the Admin app, and field staff can view and download them from the mobile app.

What happens when an inventory count worksheet is rejected?

The worksheet returns to In Progress with the reason attached, and the author sees a message explaining why. Once it's updated and resubmitted, the earlier rejection clears.
