VetLogix 2.10.4

This update improves Scheduled Events, Work Orders, Price Lists, Inventory, and Invoices. It also makes recurring events and price lists easier to manage day to day.

What's New in 2.10.4

Scheduled Events

Recurring events

  • Editing, rescheduling, or cancelling a recurring event saves each date once, so the calendar doesn't show duplicate entries.

  • If a reschedule is refused, the event stays in its original time slot.

  • Deleting a full recurring series checks every occurrence, including occurrences that already have a recorded status.

Past dates and started work

  • You can reschedule or edit an event to a past date.

  • Rescheduling is blocked once work on the event has started.

  • Administrators can delete or cancel events that were started in error. This will automatically mark the Work Order as Cancelled.

Calendar and event details

  • Select the Today button on the calendar to return to current day on any view.

  • Monthly recurring events offer more monthly patterns to choose from.

  • If no client matches while you create an event, you can create the client from the event form.

  • Each event has a record history. It shows when the event was created, modified, started, and completed, and who made each change.

  • Completed and unsupported events stay in place on the timeline. To change one, use Edit, where the event type allows it.

Inventory

Storage Locations

  • Storage Locations now allow nested locations, up to three levels deep, for enhanced tracking and management. Administrators can lock a Storage Location.

  • Inventory is automatically drawn from a user's Default Storage Location. (Available in User Profile, configurable by Administrators only.)

  • Users can be associated with multiple Storage Locations, and select where they draw inventory from when working with Products.

Lot-tracked Products

  • Set how many days before expiration a warning appears for lot-tracked products.

Inventory breakdowns

  • Create an inventory breakdown, view its history, and reverse a breakdown if it was recorded in error.

  • Reorder alerts stay accurate after a breakdown.

Work Orders

Product Lots and Expiration dates

  • Select the lot number and expiration date for lot-tracked products on Work Orders and Invoices.

  • Each line shows the Storage Location and Lot for the product, in the product detail window.

Products and stock

  • Product selectors show one On Hand value for each product.

  • Stock is drawn automatically when you add a product to a Work Order.

  • You can add a second line for the same product when that product isn't lot-tracked.

Work Order details

  • Cancelled Work Orders preserve entered items for historical reference.

  • When you delete an event that has a Work Order In Progress, the Work Order is handled as described in the event delete flow.

  • After you reschedule an Open Request, its Work Order assignment updates automatically.

Price Lists

Managing prices

  • Edit price list rows inline. Unsaved changes are marked until you save.

  • Select rows and run batch changes. You see a preview and confirm before the changes apply.

  • Volume-discount tiers support inline editing, row selection, and batch changes.

  • If one volume-discount tier is incomplete, the rest of the batch still saves. The incomplete tier is flagged for you to finish.

  • A volume-discount tier with no minimum quantity saves as a deactivated tier.

  • Duplicate tier warnings are grouped by product configuration.

  • Filters, navigation, missing-price indicators, and Save and Discard controls help you manage several price lists.

  • Mark Up is available for Products and Services. Changes made with Mark Up All By stay after you save.

Price rules

  • Sale prices must be above $0.00.

  • Percentages must be from 0% to 100%.

  • Override all other prices: turn on this setting so a price list takes precedence over all other prices.

  • Suspending a price list lets you add a reason and notes.

Checking and sharing prices

  • The Client Preview Tool shows the effective price a client sees.

  • Each line shows its effective price, margin, and markup, along with how that price was set.

  • The change history and audit drawer records changes to price lists.

  • Export and import price list line items as CSV.

  • The start and end of a price list's live scope follow your practice's timezone.

Price list update Some price list line items may have invalid values. Review your price lists, and use the Client Preview Tool to confirm the prices your clients see.

Invoices, Statements, and Billing

  • The Service Date appears in the Service Address box on the invoice PDF.

  • Payment history lists payments in date order, including across month boundaries.

  • Each invoice belongs to exactly one statement. The reopen lock applies by billing phase.

  • Catch-up billing activity in closed statement periods appears on an attribution adjustment line.
