How Record Sharing Works

The VetVerifi network model

When your clinic joins VetVerifi, your verified vaccination records become part of a trusted network. Pet service businesses — boarding, grooming, daycare — submit verification requests through the network when a pet owner presents their animal. Those requests route to you through the Copilot.

What's shared is a verified status — the requesting business sees whether a vaccine is current, expiring, or overdue. They do not receive your full medical records or SOAP notes.

What data is shared

  • Vaccine name (e.g., Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP)

  • Administration date

  • Expiration date

  • Administering clinic name

  • Verification status (Current / Expiring / Overdue)

What is never shared

  • Medical history, diagnoses, or SOAP notes

  • Prescription records

  • Client financial information

  • Any data not related to vaccine records
