Default sharing settings
By default, VetVerifi shares vaccination records for all patients associated with your clinic when a verified request comes in through the network. This is the recommended setting for most clinics — it eliminates manual handling entirely.
Restricting sharing by patient
If a client requests that their pet's records not be shared through VetVerifi, you can mark that patient as Do Not Share in the Copilot.
Find the patient in the Copilot patient list or search by name.
Open the patient record.
Toggle Do Not Share to On.
Any future requests for this patient will be routed to Needs Review instead of being fulfilled automatically.
Restricting sharing by business type
You can also limit sharing to specific business categories. For example, some clinics choose to share records with boarding facilities but not with grooming salons. Configure this in Settings > Record Sharing > Business Type Restrictions.
