Lost or Damaged SmartTag — What to Do

If your tag is lost

Your pet's records are still safe in VetVerifi — nothing is stored on the physical tag itself. The tag just points to your pet's online profile. Order a replacement tag.

If your tag is damaged and no longer scanning

Contact support and we'll send a replacement. If the tag is less than 6 months old and defective (not physically damaged by the pet), we'll replace it at no charge.

The old tag link will no longer show records. When your replacement arrives, it will be automatically linked to your pet.
