Stream from Larix Mobile to Videolinq

Larix Broadcaster is a mobile broadcasting app that will use your phone's cameras to live stream. You can get Larix Broadcaster in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

After you've downloaded and installed the app on your device, follow these next steps to connect it to Videolinq - scroll down to see configuration steps for Android.

Apple iOS Devices:

Step 1:

When you first open the App you'll be asked to grant Larix Broadcaster access to your microphone and camera. Click OK on the prompts and you should then see what your camera sees in the preview.

Step 2:

Go to the Videolinq channel, enable RTMP as a video source, and copy the RTMP path and stream key generated.

Open Notepad or any document editor and past the RTMP path. After the last digit add a forward slash "/" and paste the stream key. Your URL will look like this:

rtmp://go.videolinq.net:1935/ingest?user=AaiHyw9cQX@pKmjHTw5:bsb4iGdIcF/XKgoupqJ@pKmjHTw5

Step 3:

Next, begin the Larix software setup. Click the gear or settings icon just above the record button, then click "Connections," then click the "+" at the top right.

Step 4:

Type there "Videolinq".

Step 5:

Under the name in the URL field copy the long Videolinq path.

Step 6:

Larix Broadcaster is now set up to stream to Videolinq! You can go back to the camera preview and click the record button to start your stream! To ensure that there are no interruptions, check the channel for alerts and make changes in the "Capture and encoding" section of Larix's settings to fix them.

Android Devices:

Step 1:

When you first open the App you may be asked to grant Larix Broadcaster access to your microphone and camera. Click OK on the prompts and you should then see what your camera sees in the preview.

Step 2:

Go to the Videolinq channel, enable RTMP as a video source, and copy the RTMP path and stream key generated.

Open Notepad or any document editor and past the RTMP path. After the last digit add a forward slash "/" and paste there the stream key. Your URL will look like a long string:

rtmp://go.videolinq.net:1935/ingest?user=AaiHyw9cQX@pKmjHTw5:bsb4iGdIcF/XKgoupqJ@pKmjHTw5

Step 3:

Next, begin the Larix software setup. Click the gear or settings icon just above the record button, then click "Connections," then click the "+" at the top right.

Step 4:

For Name put "Videolinq"

Step 5:

Under the name in the URL field copy the long Videolinq path.

Step 6:

Larix Broadcaster is now set up to stream to Videolinq! You can go back to the camera preview and click the record button to start your stream! To ensure that there are no interruptions, check the channel for alerts and make changes in the "Video" and "Audio" sections of Larix's settings to fix them.
