How is credit card information transmitted and stored?

Videolinq does not store or receive any payment information directly. All payment information is kept with our payment provider, Stripe. You can learn more about security on Stripe here.

How is user information stored inside Videolinq?

All user data is encrypted and protected in our database which implements continuous protection, high availability, and on-disk encryption. Safety measures include automatic security patch application, regular intrusion tests, and required SSL-encrypted connections.

How is video content stored?

All video content is stored on AWS Simple Storage (S3). Data access is audited, monitored, and controlled via access control policies. All data access and management is done over an SSL-encrypted connection. Data access is redundant via storage environments located in multiple regional facilities.

How are video streams secured?

Videolinq delivers video streams to various destinations via the RTMP/RTMPS protocols, and to the Videolinq player via HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) protocol. Video streams are protected through a combination of security measures. When playing video hosted by Videolinq it can only be accessed through a SSL-encrypted URL with a self-expiring token/signature. This token is specific to the customer / video and is verified prior to and during video playback. If irregular video access is detected, access is automatically disabled.
