Welcome to Vidle Housing! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Vidle Housing. These Terms govern your use of our website, and related services we provide (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you understand and agree to be bound by these Terms. We may make changes to these Terms by updating them at any time, and your continued use of our Service after any changes that come into effect will constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the “Platform” to complete a booking using the Vidle Housing website.
In these Terms:
“We”, “us”, “our” “Vidle Housing” refer to (Vidle LLC doing business as Vidle Housing for Healthcare Heroes and www.VidleHousing.com), having its office at 407 SE 1st Street Delray Beach, FL 33483, which provides our Service and is the company that contracts with you under these Terms;
“Content” refers to all text, descriptions, reviews, photographs, images, videos, software, and other content submitted to us and contained on our website; Our “Platform” is the part of the website through which a Traveler may utilize the Service we provide and refers to our website, including user support, that assist you in researching, planning, and booking a Travel Service;
“Host” refers to the property owner, manager, and/or other travel supplier making available the Travel Services to you through our Service and anyone else who acts on behalf of such parties;
“Travel Service” refers to the travel services made available to you by the relevant Host or Travel Provider(s) through our Service, such as stays at a property;
“User” refers to anyone accessing our website or the Platform we provide;
“You” “Traveler” or “Guest” refers to you, or anyone using our Service or making a reservation or booking through our Platform.
Traveler Terms
1. Searching and Booking on Vidle Housing
1.1. Search Tools and Filters
Users can access listings through the Platform by filtering options based on service type and listing type and destination and dates of travel and guest numbers. Search results on the Platform can be filtered through additional criteria which include price range, guest review scores, amenities, property features, and more to assist users in finding suitable options.
The Platform displays search results based on their match to your query and other factors which include but are not limited to: listing destination, property availability and rates. Search results may differ depending on your device type and geographic location, as well as your search history and your interactions with the Platform.
1.2. Booking Your Stay
As a Vidle Housing User you must pay every charge that comes with your reservation starting from the Host’s listing price and including Vidle Housing’s service fee, taxes, and other disclosed charges (the “Total Price”) during checkout. You grant Vidle Housing permission to process the Total Price through its payment processor using your chosen payment method.
After booking confirmation Vidle Housing establishes a direct reservation between you and the Host which becomes a legally binding agreement. These Terms form part of the agreement together with cancellation policies and house rules and all extra terms communicated in the listing or during checkout. You must read all terms of the reservation before booking since it is your responsibility to understand them fully.
Hosts who work with co-hosts or teams to provide host services might include their services in your reservation. Your booking confirmation will arrive at the checkout email address you provide and contains booking information including listing description and pricing details along with policies. You should contact Vidle Housing support right away if you do not receive your booking confirmation within 24 hours.
Bookings will require that Vidle Housing send you to a third-party service to finalize the transaction. The contractual relationship for bookings made through such services, such as Stripe, will exist between you and the third party instead of Vidle Housing. Third-party platforms remain outside our control so we cannot be held responsible for their content or conduct, and all bookings made through these platforms will fall under the third party's specific terms and conditions.
1.3. Accommodation Reservations
Through an accommodation reservation you obtain temporary permission to access and occupy and utilize the property from start to finish of your agreed “Reservation”. The Host can enter the accommodation during your stay if the entry (i) becomes necessary (ii) has been disclosed in the listing or otherwise pre-agreed between parties and (iii) comports with local law and regulations.
You cannot bring more people than the maximum number of guests mentioned in the listing description. Violation of the number of guests may result in cancellation, additional fees, and/or removal from the property.
Staying beyond checkout time without permission from the Host terminates your license to stay, and the Host can enforce eviction procedures according to local laws. The Host maintains the right to impose both acceptable overstay fees and costs and to pursue eviction procedures.
1.4. Minimum Stay Requirement – 30 days
All bookings made by Travelers through the Vidle Housing Platform must be for a minimum stay of thirty (30) consecutive days. You may not book a stay for fewer than 30 days.
1.5. Refunds, Cancellations, and Rebooking
The purchase of a reservation for a Service grants you access to the host service as described in the listing. It is your responsibility to make sure that you and any other guests adhere to all requirements which the Host has established, including age restrictions and health standards. The host service must only be used by guests who were included in the reservation during the booking process.
Before participating in the experience or Service you need to disclose all medical conditions as well as disabilities and allergies and personal circumstances which could impact your safety during the activity. Vidle Housing together with Hosts maintain the authority to prevent participation when conditions are not fulfilled or when safety and health risks exist.
The responsibility to follow all entry and health requirements of the destination rests with you when you travel internationally from overseas or cross borders for your experience or host service. Before booking on the Platform and before departure you should consult official government resources and embassies or consulates to obtain the most recent information about your ability to travel to the United States. You need to verify all travel advisories and restrictions which could impact your trip or the experience.
Vidle Housing does not provide any assurance about the safety of visiting particular destinations, nor do we guarantee risk-free travel. You assume all risks that come with traveling. Vidle Housing does not assume responsibility for any disruptions or losses that result from your failure to meet travel requirements or from circumstances which are outside its control including governmental actions and border entry denials and health emergencies.
2. Changing or Cancelling Your Booking
2.1. Cancellation Policies and Refund Eligibility
Your refund eligibility is subject to the terms and provisions set forth in the Vidle Housing Cancellation Policy that is a separate item on the Vidle Housing Platform and website. See that Policy for its specific terms.
To cancel or modify a reservation you need to use either the Platform instructions or reach out to Vidle Housing support.
2.2. Booking Modifications
The Vidle Housing Platform allows both Travelers and Hosts to agree to changes to their bookings through the Platform itself or with support from Vidle Housing customer support. Booking modifications refer to changes made to check-in or check-out dates and guest numbers and pricing and substantive terms of the reservation.
Through a booking modification both parties confirm their understanding of any resulting extra costs, service fees, taxes, and additional adjustments. The amount of additional costs or partial refunds will depend on what modifications are made and when they occur. Review all modifications and their corresponding expenses before you validate and commit to a booking modification.
The acceptance of booking modifications depends on Host availability and their personal choice while cancellation policies and other reservation restrictions remain effective.
3. Your Responsibilities and Assumption of Risk
3.1. Conduct and Accountability
As a booking Platform User, you assume full responsibility for all of your actions and omissions as well as for the actions and omissions of any individuals you grant access to any listing, common area or host service. “Common Areas” include all spaces and facilities legally available for shared use in connection with the accommodation.
By using the Platform or booking a listing or host service, you agree:
The accommodation space together with its related areas and facilities must stay in the same state that existed when you first entered.
You must compensate Hosts for damages and missing items and additional cleaning costs that result from your stay while staying at Host properties.
You must preserve the integrity of the property while respecting both the Hosts and other guests and all applicable laws and rules during your Platform use and reservation period.
As the person who booked the host service you must verify that every additional guest meets the requirements set by the Host, and you must notify them about the Terms and all applicable rules, conditions and policies set by the Host.
You must have legal permission to represent minors and you assume complete responsibility to supervise them throughout your stay or host service experience.
3.2. Your Assumption of Risk
Traveling and staying at accommodations and engaging in host services through the Vidle Housing Platform brings inherent risks that you fully understand and accept. The risks which might occur include illness and bodily injury, disability, death, property damage, theft and unexpected events.
You accept all possible risks when accessing and using the Vidle Housing Platform and its Services available there including accommodations and host services, and interactions with other Guests or other people. Your accommodation stay constitutes part of these risks together with your engagement with Travel Services and your contact with other individuals both in person and through the internet.
Before making a reservation or taking part in any listing or accommodation, you must perform an independent assessment of its safety and suitability. When using the Platform or participating in its arranged activities, you fully understand all potential risks and assume full responsibility for your decisions.
Vidle Housing maintains no control over Hosts and guests and third parties and excludes any and all legal responsibility to protect you from any injuries, losses, or damages you experience while using the Platform and its Services or staying at any of the accommodations booked through the Platform.
Also, Vidle Housing does not provide any liability insurance or property coverage to apply to any claims you may submit for any bodily injuries to you or others or for any claims you may submit for lost, stolen or damaged personal property.
Host Terms
4. Hosting on Vidle Housing
4.1. Getting Started as a Host
Using the Vidle Housing Platform to post properties, or accommodations, means you must agree to these terms to provide direct bookings to Travelers. Using the Vidle Housing Platform enables you to connect your space with guests in exchange for money.
4.2. Contracting with Travelers
You operate as an independent person or organization when interacting with Vidle Housing and are not an employee, agent or joint venture partner. These terms contain no provisions which would establish either expressly or implicitly an employment relationship, partnership, or joint venture between you and Vidle Housing.
Vidle Housing maintains no control over your properties or your service delivery process when you provide Travel Services through the Platform. The decision-making authority remains entirely with you to determine when and how you will offer and deliver your services, including all aspects of pricing and availability and terms and conditions of your listings.
You assume all responsibility for your business operations and must follow all applicable laws and regulations as well as all tax obligations and obtain any necessary permits and licenses. Vidle Housing does not act as your agent or representative for any purpose except where specifically identified.
4.3. Your Role as an Independent Host

5. Creating and Managing Your Listing
5.1. Building a Compliant Listing
The Vidle Housing Platform offers functions which simplify the process of listing and publishing your accommodations. Each listing you post requires you to include complete accurate and up-to-date information about your property and any Travel Service which includes:
The physical address of the accommodation.
Availability dates and calendar accuracy.
Total pricing, including all applicable fees (e.g., cleaning, pet, or parking fees.)
House rules and guest requirements (e.g., no smoking, quiet hours, age limits.)
Accurate and recent photographs that fairly depict the property or service. Your responsibilities include prompt updates to your listing whenever you make changes such as price, availability, or property condition. The Platform will reduce your visibility and might suspend or remove you and your listings after detecting any misrepresentations or inaccurate listing content.
Your responsibilities include all aspects of your accommodations and Travel Service operations, including among other things obtaining adequate insurance coverage that may apply for your exposures associated with your property and business activities. Check your insurance policies carefully because you should understand all the terms and conditions of the coverage as well as coverage limits and exclusions that may apply.
Vidle Housing does not provide any liability insurance or property insurance protection for Hosts or their properties. You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining adequate insurance coverage to protect your property, guests, and any associated risk or liabilities for the duration of each booking. This includes, but is not limited to, property damage, bodily injury, theft, and personal injury claims. Please review your policies carefully to ensure they cover short-term rentals or extended stays.
You must keep only one active listing for each accommodation unless your property includes multiple bookable units. The Platform requires all host services to follow any specific terms and policies established by Vidle Housing.
5.2. Minimum Stay Requirement
All listings on the Vidle Housing Platform must comply with a strict 30-day minimum stay policy. Hosts are not permitted to offer or accept reservations for stays shorter than 30 consecutive days.
It is the Host’s responsibility to configure their listing availability, pricing, and calendar to reflect this minimum duration. Listings that do not comply may be removed or suspended. Repeated violations of this policy may result in account termination and loss of access to the Platform
5.3. Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
All Hosts using Vidle Housing’s Platform must understand and follow all applicable laws, rules, regulations, tax requirements, and third-party agreements which affect their Listings and host services. This includes, but is not limited to:
Local zoning laws and short- or long-term rental restrictions.
Landlord-tenant laws, rent control regulations, and eviction rules for longer stays.
Lease agreements or condominium/homeowners’ association rules that may prohibit or limit subletting or short-term rentals.
Business licenses or permits necessary to operate accommodation services as well as food preparation and alcohol service and tour guiding and transportation businesses.
Health and safety regulations and applicable building codes must be followed for properties and services under your management.
Guest registration and record-keeping laws.
Local tax collection, reporting, and remittance obligations.
Offering certain Travel Services may be prohibited in certain areas or subject to restrictions under local laws. The Host must verify that their hosting activities comply with the existing legal framework. The Platform does not verify your compliance with state, federal or local requirements, so our legal information serves only as guidance. A qualified legal professional must be consulted to verify your compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
As a Host you need to follow all applicable privacy laws when handling and storing Guest personal data as well as following Vidle Housing Data Privacy Policy while implementing relevant privacy standards or policies.
Noncompliance with these obligations can lead to Platform suspension and removal as well as subject you to legal claims, penalties, and fines.
5.4. Compliance with Local Laws
Vidle Housing’s Terms serve as the baseline standard for all listings and bookings on the Platform. However, where any federal, state, or local law, ordinance, or regulation imposes stricter requirements, such as rental duration restrictions, licensing or inspection obligations, safety codes, or health regulations, those legal requirements shall apply, and the Terms provided here are intended to be compliant with and consistent with all applicable law. To the extent there are any inconsistencies between the Terms and applicable law, the terms of the applicable law shall apply.
It is solely the Host’s responsibility to ensure that their listing, operations, and use of the Platform are in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdiction where the property is located. Vidle Housing does not guarantee legal compliance and does not provide legal advice regarding local requirements. Noncompliance may result in enforcement actions by governmental authorities and may also lead to suspension or removal from the Platform.
5.5. Listing Visibility and Ranking
Listings on the Vidle Housing Platform appear in search results based on a combination of dynamic factors designed to provide the most relevant results to Travelers. These factors include:
Travelers’ preferences, such as number of guests, travel destination, travel dates, duration of stay, price range, and past behavior (e.g., previous trips, saved listings, viewed listings.)
Listing quality and completeness, including pricing, calendar availability, number and quality of images, amenities, property details, and how recently the listing was created or updated.
Host performance, including responsiveness, acceptance rate, consistency in pricing, cancellation history, and the overall quality of the guest experience.
Booking history and popularity, such as how often the listing is booked and positive guest engagement (e.g., reviews.)
Price competitiveness, compared to similar Listings in the same location or category.
Search results may differ depending on the device utilized, the view selected, and other technical settings. In some cases, new listings may be temporarily prioritized in results.
Vidle Housing does not guarantee placement or ranking of any listing in search results. Vidle Housing may also offer Hosts the opportunity to promote their listings for greater visibility through paid placement.
5.6 Host Duties and Conduct
As a Host on Vidle Housing, you are responsible and liable for your own acts and omissions, as well as the acts and omissions of anyone you allow to participate in providing your host services. This includes co-hosts, assistants, service providers, or any other individuals involved in managing or delivering your listing.
You are solely responsible for:
Setting the price for your listing and clearly describing all applicable charges (e.g., cleaning fees, pet fees, parking fees) in the listing description.
Ensuring that all mandatory fees, taxes, and charges related to the listing are disclosed and included in the price breakdown at checkout.
Establishing house rules, guest requirements, and other terms specific to your Listing.
Keeping your listing information accurate and up to date at all times, including availability, amenities, and images.
Complying with all applicable Vidle Housing policies and community standards.
You may not collect or request any fees or charges from Travelers outside the Vidle Housing Platform, except where expressly authorized in writing by Vidle Housing or as permitted under our applicable policies. Additionally, you may not encourage Travelers to create third-party accounts, provide personal contact information, leave reviews outside the Platform, or otherwise engage in actions that seek to circumvent Vidle Housing or its Platform in connecting Hosts to Travelers.
Failure to adhere to these responsibilities may result in reduced visibility, penalties, suspension, or removal from the Platform.
5.7 Hosting as a Team or Organization
If you host on Vidle Housing as part of a team, business, or other organization, or if you work with one or more co-hosts, you are responsible and liable as the primary Host under these Terms for all acts and omissions of each individual or entity involved in delivering your Host services. This includes co-hosts, employees, contractors, agents, or any other personnel engaged by you to manage or operate your listings.
As the primary Host, you are responsible for:
Ensuring that all team members, co-hosts, or representatives understand and comply with these Terms and any applicable Vidle Housing policies.
Informing your personnel of their obligations under these Terms and ensuring they act in accordance with all legal, operational, and ethical requirements.
Representing and warranting that you have the legal authority to bind your team, business, or organization to these Terms and any contract entered into via the Platform.
Confirming that your business or organization is in good legal standing in its place of incorporation, registration, and where its properties are located.
Ensuring that all payment instructions you provide, including any transfers to co-hosts or third parties, are accurate and authorized.
You are also responsible for ensuring that any supplemental agreements or arrangements you establish within your team or organization are consistent with these Terms and do not conflict with Vidle Housing’s policies or applicable law.
5.8 Your Assumption of Risk
The Platform comes with inherent risks that include property damage, personal injury, theft, and potential legal liability. Your use of the Platform as a Host requires you to accept all risks that stem from your use of the Platform and your provision of host services and your interactions with Travelers and other members whether in person or online.
You acknowledge and agree that you are not covered by any insurance policy provided by Vidle Housing. You bear full responsibility for obtaining your own coverage and managing any claims or liabilities that may arise during or after a guest stay.
You have had the chance to research the Vidle Housing Platform and all applicable laws and rules and regulations that affect your listings and host services, and you are not depending on any legal or compliance information provided by Vidle Housing. You are fully responsible for understanding all legal and practical requirements of hosting in your area.
Your participation as a Host frees Vidle Housing from all possible liabilities that stem from your hosting activities and listings and Travelers communications according to applicable laws.
6. Managing Cancellations, Issues, and Changes
6.1 Host Cancellations and Guest Complaints
Your right to payment from any reservation is subject to the Vidle Housing Cancellation Policy enforced at the time the Travelers made the booking. The Vidle Housing Cancellation Policy overrides and applies to bookings through the Platform.
As a Host, you have agreed not to cancel a confirmed reservation unless you have a valid reason that is permitted under applicable law. When you cancel a reservation without a valid reason, Vidle Housing may impose penalties, which may include:
A cancellation fee deducted from your payout.
Lower placement in search results.
Temporary suspension or permanent removal of your Listing.
Reimbursement to Vidle Housing for any Traveler refunds or rebooking costs.
If a Traveler experiences a reservation Issue (e.g., the property is inaccessible, unsafe, misrepresented, or significantly different than described), or if you cancel a reservation without valid justification, you may be required to refund amounts already paid under the Vidle Housing Cancellation Policy. If the Guest is entitled to a refund under Vidle Housing’s policies and you have already received your payment, Vidle Housing may recover the refunded amount by offsetting it against your future payment or requesting reimbursement directly from you.
We may delay the release of your payment if we reasonably believe a Traveler may be entitled to a refund under one of our applicable policies while we review the situation.
By listing on Vidle Housing, you agree that our Cancellation Policy and these Terms govern refund and cancellation situations and may supersede your customary cancellation terms when appropriate.
6.2 Booking Modifications
Hosts and Travelers are jointly responsible for any Booking Modifications they agree to make through the Vidle Housing Platform or through Vidle Housing customer service acting on their behalf. When you accept a modification, you agree to honor the revised terms and to pay or refund any additional amounts, fees, or taxes that result from the change.
Any changes to price, dates, number of guests, or services provided must be confirmed through the Platform to be enforceable. Vidle Housing is not liable for disputes arising from unrecorded or informal modifications made outside the Platform.
7. Taxes and Financial Compliance
7.1 Your Tax Responsibilities
As a Host, you are solely responsible for understanding, determining, and fulfilling your obligations under applicable laws to report, collect, remit, or include in your listing price any taxes that may apply to your host services. This includes, but is not limited to, value-added tax, occupancy tax, tourist tax, income tax, or other indirect or direct taxes ("Taxes").
You agree that Vidle Housing does not provide tax advice and that you are responsible for consulting with a qualified tax professional to ensure compliance with your local, state, and federal tax requirements. Vidle Housing may provide information or tools to assist with tax-related obligations, but this does not constitute legal or tax advice.
7.2 Collection and Remittance of Taxes
Hosts are responsible for the payment and submission of all applicable taxes that may apply from a booking. In any jurisdiction where Vidle Housing facilitates the collection and/or remittance of Taxes on behalf of Hosts, you hereby instruct and authorize Vidle Housing to collect such Taxes from Travelers and remit them to the relevant tax authorities. Any Taxes collected and/or remitted by Vidle Housing will be clearly identified in your transaction records, as applicable.
Vidle Housing may request additional amounts, including by withholding or deducting such amounts from future payouts, if the Taxes collected or remitted are insufficient to fully satisfy your tax obligations. You agree that your sole remedy for any Taxes collected by Vidle Housing is to seek a refund directly from the applicable taxing authority.
You acknowledge and agree that Vidle Housing may, with prior notice, cease collecting and/or remitting Taxes in any jurisdiction at its sole discretion and for any reason.
7.3 Providing Tax Details to Vidle Housing
In certain jurisdictions, tax laws may require Vidle Housing to collect, verify, and/or report specific tax-related information about you, or to withhold applicable taxes from payouts to you. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information regarding your identity, billing address, payment details, tax registration status, and any applicable tax identification numbers. You are responsible for ensuring that all such information is complete, up to date, and accurate for the duration that your listing is active on the Platform.
If you fail to provide documentation that we determine to be sufficient to comply with applicable tax withholding or reporting obligations, Vidle Housing may withhold payouts to you in amounts required by law until adequate documentation is received.
You agree that Vidle Housing may, where legally required or permitted, issue invoices, tax documentation, or other records (such as 1099 forms) on your behalf for purposes of tax reporting obligations.
You further agree to cooperate in good faith with Vidle Housing to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and to respond promptly to any reasonable requests for additional information or documentation related to your tax status or earnings on the Platform.
7.4 Occupancy and Transactional Taxes
Vidle Housing is not responsible for withholding or remitting any occupancy, lodging, or similar transactional taxes from transactions on the Platform.
If any such taxes are applicable under federal, state or local law, the responsibility for collecting and remitting any taxes rests solely with the Host. Vidle Housing reserves the right to amend the Terms to address any tax issues.
7.5 Tax Reporting for Payments
For payments processed through Stripe, Stripe will be responsible for issuing IRS Form 1099s to Hosts, subject to applicable reporting thresholds. Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring they comply with their tax obligations, and nothing in these Terms should be construed as tax advice. We recommend consulting a qualified tax professional for guidance.
General Terms
8. User Reviews and Feedback
Travelers will have the chance to review each host service after its completion. The Vidle Housing community depends on reviews to gather experience feedback which establishes trust and transparency.
All reviews need to be truthful, while at the same time complying with these terms and applicable law. The content of reviews must avoid discriminatory language as well as offensive language and defamatory statements, and inappropriate language. Hosts can read Travelers reviews that appear on their listings while also writing a response.
You need to obtain explicit permission from the review author before sharing or using any review content that appears on the Vidle Housing Platform. The accuracy of reviews on the platform remains unverified by Vidle Housing since the company does not guarantee the truthfulness of any review content. Some reviews may be incorrect or misleading.
The Platform maintains full authority to delete or block any review or response which violates our Terms or applicable law. Travelers or Hosts who want to contest review removals should reach out to Vidle Housing customer support for assistance.
General Terms
9. Content
The Vidle Housing Platform enables users to upload and share content through its features which include text, photographs, images, videos, reviews, feedback, and other materials (“Content”). You maintain all intellectual property rights that belong to you in your Content. The Platform receives your Content through submission and you grant Vidle Housing and its affiliates a worldwide license to use your Content without royalty fees in perpetuity for unlimited sublicensing and distribution purposes.
The license permits Vidle Housing to use your name and likeness together with any trademarks or service marks associated with your content while following data protection regulations and our Privacy Policy. You also agree that the license permits Vidle Housing may use images of Host properties for marketing purposes, including but not limited to on its website, email messages and social media accounts.
You must provide original content to the Platform while ensuring that you possess all necessary rights to use and license the material and that your submissions do not infringe on third-party intellectual property or privacy rights. The Content Policy shall not include or contain any discriminatory or offensive content as well as illegal or inappropriate material.
We reserve the right to delete or revise Content that violates our Terms or any legal requirements and persistent violations may lead to account deactivation or Platform removal.
10. Platform Fees and Charges
The Platform and its associated services require both Travelers and Hosts to pay fees known as Service Fees to Vidle Housing. Service Fees together with their applicable taxes will be shown to Travelers and Hosts before they finalize their reservation.
For each confirmed booking, Vidle Housing collects a twelve percent (12%) service fee from the total transaction amount between the Traveler and the Host (“Service Fee”). The Service Fee is deducted from the total payment to the Host before the Host receives their payment. Hosts and Travelers do not pay additional fees to list or book through the Platform.
The Service Fee calculation is based on booking amounts that include listing prices and extra fees like cleaning and pet fees, and all applicable taxes. The Service Fee exists to fund Platform operations through secure payment processing and customer support and booking guarantees, and other tools that improve Travelers and Host experiences. In addition to the Service Fee, other transaction fees may apply as described below.
The Service Fee remains non-refundable unless the Vidle Housing Cancellation Policy provides otherwise, or Vidle Housing makes an exception. Vidle Housing maintains the authority to change its Service Fee whenever it chooses. The Platform will notify users about fee changes before they take effect, and bookings made before the change will remain unaffected. You can stop using the Platform if you disagree with fee changes.
Hosts must prevent their Travelers from using any methods to bypass Service Fees. Using this method violates these Terms and may lead to penalties that include account suspension or removal from the Platform.
11. Transaction Fees and Charges
Payments on the Vidle Housing Platform will be facilitated through third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe). These services may charge additional processing or transaction fees that are separate from Vidle Housing's Service Fee. Currently the transaction processing fees are either three percent (3%) for credit card charges and .85% for payments made by ACH transactions.
You acknowledge and agree that any such third-party fees are your responsibility and that Vidle Housing is not liable for any costs, disputes, chargebacks, or service disruptions related to payments processed through external platforms. All such transactions are subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the applicable payment processor.
12. Platform Use Rules and Conduct
12.1. Rules
You will use Vidle Housing according to the following rules while preventing others from violating them. You remain responsible for both understanding and following all applicable laws and rules and third-party agreements during your Platform use.

You must:
In all of your interactions, you must conduct yourself with honesty, integrity, and with respect for others.
All your listings and profiles along with communications and transactions must contain accurate and complete information which should remain up-to-date.
All members of the community together with Hosts and Travelers should receive proper treatment through respectful and polite conduct.
All Users must follow all applicable housing laws and regulations, anti-discrimination laws, privacy laws, and safety laws, and avoid violating any unfair business practice laws.
Follow the rules specified in each listing that include house rules and cancellation policies as well as guest limits and Host-specific terms.
You must monitor children during host service interactions while ensuring everyone in your group respects these Terms.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in the conduct described below:
The Platform and Services remain available only for legitimate uses that do not involve fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful, unlawful or unauthorized activities.
The Platform should not display any content which contains falsehoods, defamatory statements, obscene language, discriminatory remarks, harassing messages or objectionable material.
The Platform's fees must not be circumvented, and all transactions need to stay within the Vidle Housing system.
Platform security along with its integrity and proper functioning should not be impaired through activities such as hacking, scraping, bot usage, or reverse engineering.
You must avoid both pretending to be someone else and pretending to be an entity or person other than yourself.
Any unauthorized use of Vidle Housing branding or content or any attempts to create confusion through similar marks or domain names or social handles will be considered a violation.
You must not participate in any illegal or prohibited activities including human trafficking or prostitution.
The hosting of unauthorized parties or events at a listing is strictly forbidden.
Any attempt to modify search results or review ratings is strictly prohibited.
Users must comply with these Terms and refrain from violating privacy laws when collecting or using personal information from other users.
Requiring Travelers to engage with third-party platforms, services, or requests (e.g., reviews, surveys, accounts) as a condition of booking, unless explicitly authorized by Vidle Housing.
Legal Compliance
Your responsibilities include making sure your Platform usage together with any listing or Traveler Service complies with all applicable laws, regulations and contracts, including but not limited to:
Rental laws, zoning regulations, and housing codes
Permitting, licensing, and tax laws
Anti-discrimination, privacy, and consumer protection laws
Health, safety, and accessibility standards
Payment data handling, if using third-party processors
Vidle Housing maintains the authority to remove Content and suspend accounts and perform additional enforcement actions if we detect or learn of violations of these rules. Users who do not follow the rules may face termination and where applicable and warranted their cases will be sent to relevant authorities.
12.2. Reporting Violations
You should contact local law enforcement or emergency services first if you think a Traveler or Host, a listing, or content on Vidle Housing creates an immediate danger to people or properties or public safety.
You can report any violation of these Terms or applicable laws or regulations to Vidle Housing through our designated reporting channels.
Should you contact local authorities about an issue, Vidle Housing may ask for an official report or related documentation. We take all reports seriously, but we do not have to take specific action on any report unless we are required to do so by applicable law.
Vidle Housing has the right to investigate and suspend or remove content or take other enforcement actions at our discretion based on the nature of the violation and potential risk to our community.
12.3. Copyright and Intellectual Property
The ownership of your intellectual property rights in content remains yours after you submit it to the Vidle Housing Platform. The Vidle Housing Platform obtains an unlimited worldwide non-exclusive royalty-free perpetual irrevocable transferable sublicensable license to utilize your submitted content in any present or future format or media. The Platform operates and markets with this license while you also grant Vidle Housing permission to display your name when we use the Content. As set forth above, you also agree that the license permits Vidle Housing to use images of Host properties for marketing purposes, including but not limited to, on Vidle Housing’s website, email messages and social media accounts.
You confirm that you possess complete rights to grant the license, and your content does not breach the intellectual property rights or privacy or publicity rights of any third party. The Platform requires you to guarantee all required permissions and consents and licenses for copyrighted materials and trademarks and individual likenesses and protected locations you include in your content.
The exclusive property of Vidle Housing or its licensors includes all content materials, software layout and design elements displayed on the Vidle Housing Platform, and these assets fall under copyright trademark and additional intellectual property laws. The Platform along with its content can only be accessed through explicit authorization from these Terms or prior written permission from Vidle Housing.
You are authorized to download or print single pages of the Platform for personal confirmation of Terms acceptance provided that all copyright and proprietary notices remain intact.
Vidle Housing and its affiliates hold ownership of all trademarks, logos and service marks displayed on the Platform under the names “Vidle Housing.” The use of Vidle Housing trademarks or brand elements without our explicit written permission constitutes an infringement.
A valid complaint about third-party intellectual property infringement in your content will trigger Vidle Housing to disable access to the content while asking for proof of your ownership rights. Your failure to show ownership or proper licensing authorization may lead to account penalties and eventual removal.
The agreement requires you to defend and indemnify Vidle Housing and its staff from any liabilities and claims that result from third-party rights violations through your content.
Your submissions to our Services will automatically become Vidle Housing property when you submit feedback or suggestions or other ideas about our Services. The submissions become our unrestricted property for unrestricted use, modification, and commercialization with no acknowledgment or compensation required.
13. Account Termination and Suspension
13.1 Agreement Duration
When you start accessing or using the Vidle Housing Platform by creating an account or listing or browsing or completing a booking, the Terms between you and Vidle Housing will take effect. This agreement stays active until either party ends it according to the termination conditions present in these Terms.
13.2 Termination
You can terminate this agreement by deleting your Vidle Housing account or by contacting our support team with a written request. After termination you will lose access to your account and to all listings, reservations, and stored data which remains on the Platform except for what the law requires.
The termination of your agreement with Vidle Housing requires thirty (30) days advance notice which we will deliver through email or your registered account contact information. Vidle Housing can end this agreement without advance warning to terminate your account immediately.
The termination of this agreement arises when:
You fail to comply with the terms or provisions which are part of these Terms.
You violate any applicable laws or engage in any illegal activity.
We need to protect Vidle Housing together with its Users or third parties.
Your account remains inactive for more than two (2) years.
13.3 Violations and Enforcement Actions
Vidle Housing and/or its affiliates may enforce: (i) any breach of these Terms; (ii) any violation of laws or regulations or third-party rights; and (iii) any belief by Vidle Housing that safety or property rights are at risk by:
Vidle Housing can temporarily or permanently block your access to or usage of the Vidle Housing Platform and/or your account.
Your listings and/or other content will be removed or disabled or have its visibility reduced.
Pending or confirmed reservations will be canceled.
Special status privileges and account features connected to your profile will be revoked or suspended.
When dealing with minor infractions or when Vidle Housing decides to act in its sole discretion, it will notify you before taking action and give you the chance to solve the issue.
When a reservation gets canceled due to a violation under this Section Vidle Housing will subtract from the Host's payment the refund amount or guest accommodation provided and all costs Vidle Housing incurs because of the cancellation.
You can challenge actions taken under this Section by reaching out to Vidle Housing Support.
13.4 Legal Obligations
Vidle Housing must follow all applicable laws and regulations including court orders and orders or directions from regulatory bodies and governmental entities. The Platform takes reasonable legal requirements through suspending or terminating accounts while removing or limiting access to listings or content and canceling reservations and disclosing information as defined in these Terms.
13.5 Effect of Termination
All confirmed reservations of a Host will automatically get canceled, and full refunds will be provided to their Travelers when a Host decides to terminate their Vidle Housing account. The cancellation of a Traveler account will lead to reservation termination, and refunds will follow the policies defined in each reservation.
After your account is terminated, you will lose access to your account data and all its associated content. Vidle Housing shall not be responsible for restoring your account or recovering any information that you lost. After termination of this agreement or account suspension or when your access to Vidle Housing is restricted by us, you cannot establish a new account nor use the Platform through another member's account.
14. Changes to These Terms
Vidle Housing reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on the Platform and revise the “Last Updated” date on the document when we make material changes. You can end this agreement at any time before the new Terms take effect if you do not agree to the updated Terms. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your express acceptance of the revised Terms. To the extent that there is any conflict between these Terms and applicable federal, state or local law, the provisions of applicable law shall apply, and these Terms are deemed to be amended accordingly.
15. Disputes and Property Damage Claims
The Platform provides Users the option to submit valid proof regarding property damage to the Traveler’s belongings or the Host’s property or any related damage. The affected User has the option to file a damage report to Vidle Housing for review. You will receive a notification about the damage report so you can address the issue directly with the affected User. The Platform reserves the right to collect compensation from your payment method or payout or through the affected User’s agreement to accept payment according to Vidle Housing's sole discretion.
You grant Vidle Housing the authority to retrieve payment from your insurance policies and to use legal methods, including hiring collection agents or starting lawsuits to recover the funds. You agree to provide requested information and sign required documents while taking proper action for damage reports and complaints and insurance claims that pertain to your use or provision of host services.
16. Vidle Housing’s Role
The Platform allows Users to both post and discover accommodation listings and book these services. The Platform functions as an online marketplace for Hosts and Travelers to establish direct rental agreements. Through the Platform Hosts and Travelers make direct agreements while Vidle Housing maintains no ownership or operational control or managerial responsibility over listings. Vidle Housing is uninvolved in rental agreements (unless it provides payment facilitation services) and assumes no responsibility for any liabilities.
Every agreement between Travelers and Hosts includes payment obligations as well as availability requirements and property condition standards and all other contractual duties. Vidle Housing operates as an independent third party that connects Travelers and Hosts through their Platform. The Platform monitoring activities of Vidle Housing along with enforcement of Terms and Policies do not control conduct of Users and Vidle Housing does not take responsibility for User acts or omissions. Hosts and Travelers must cooperate with Vidle Housing during any investigations or enforcement actions by providing all information we ask for in good faith.
17. Hosts and Travelers Accounts
To access and use many features of the Vidle Housing Platform, you must register an account. Registration is permitted only for natural persons who are at least 21 years old, legal entities, and partnerships. You guarantee through registration that all laws in the United States and your residence and every applicable jurisdiction allow you to use the Platform. You must provide correct and current and complete information during account creation and keep your account information updated at all times.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and may not share them with any third parties. You are liable for all activities conducted through your account and must notify Vidle Housing immediately if you suspect that your credentials have been lost, stolen, or your account has otherwise been compromised. Your account transfer to another person or entity needs our written consent before proceeding.
The law permits Vidle Housing to ask for identification documents or other verification materials to check your identity and background. The verification process includes database screening and public criminal record checks and sex offender registration reviews and other verification methods. The Platform's use requires your consent to verification procedures when they become applicable. Your access to other services within the Vidle Housing network requires compliance with service-specific terms and privacy policies.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Vidle Housing Platform provides its services and content with all software functions and materials and listings through it while making no warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Platform operates without warranty regarding its availability or reliability or continuous operation, nor does it guarantee error-free operation or security.
The Platform does not provide any warranty about the legal status or safety level or quality or performance or suitability of Travelers, Hosts, services, listings, properties, or third parties. The verification process conducted by Vidle Housing does not ensure the identification of past misconduct or prevent future misconduct from happening.
Your booking volume remains unguaranteed by the Platform since we cannot predict any specific number of bookings or their frequency or nature. Your hosting activities bring natural risks of property destruction and financial loss and liability, which you fully accept when using the Platform and its features.
These disclaimers apply to the maximum extent permitted by law. When applicable laws prevent warranty disclaiming, then the duration and scope of warranties will operate to their fullest extent permitted.
19. Limitations on Liability
Vidle Housing together with its affiliates’, partners, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, consultants, licensors, service providers and third-party providers involved in Platform creation and operation and delivery will be free from any and all liability for indirect and incidental and special and exemplary and punitive and consequential damages. By using the Platform you agree that you are relinquishing all claims for all forms of damage including profit, loss and data damage and goodwill loss and service interruptions and computer system damage and system failure and substitute service costs and personal or bodily injuries and emotional distress and other losses which stem from; these Terms; the Platform or Content access and usage or inability to access or use the Platform or Content; (iii) your interactions with Travelers or Hosts and third parties whether they occur online or in person; (iv) bookings and Listings and host services and transactions enabled through the Platform; or (v) Platform tools and features and third-party integrations.
These limitations apply to all legal theories including contract and tort and strict liability and other bases. The specified limitations will continue to apply even if a limited remedy fails for its essential purpose.
The total liability Vidle Housing owes to you or any third party does not exceed (i) for Travelers, the total amount paid by that Traveler to Vidle Housing during bookings made within the previous 12 months before the event occurred; (ii) for Hosts, the total amount paid to you by Vidle Housing for bookings made within the previous 12 months before the event occurred; or (iii) for all other users, one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
The limitations of liability function as fundamental conditions in your agreement with Vidle Housing. In jurisdictions that restrict the exclusion of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitations may not apply to you.
20. Indemnification
In all applicable circumstances you must defend, indemnify and hold harmless Vidle Housing, its affiliates, subsidiaries, managers, members, officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners (collectively, “Vidle Housing Parties”) from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including but not limited to reasonable legal and expert fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (i) your breach or violation of these Terms, any other terms or policies referenced herein, or any applicable law or regulation; (ii) your improper use of the Platform or any services offered through it; (iii) your interaction with any User, including but not limited to any booking, stay, listing, or host service, and any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind related to such use or interaction; (iv) your failure, or our failure at your direction, to accurately report, collect, or remit any taxes; (v) your Content, listings, property, or any services you offer as a Host; or (vi) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, data privacy, or other legal rights.
You will not settle any matter on behalf of the Vidle Housing Parties without our prior written consent even when we allow you to defend these claims. The indemnification provision will remain in force after the termination of these Terms as well as your use of the Platform.
21. Contracting Entities
Your relationship with Vidle Housing will depend on where you live or have your business operations and which services you choose to use on Vidle Housing. The Vidle Housing entity you are dealing with will depend on the service or feature you are using and will be shown either in these Terms or through the Platform at the time of the transaction. The Vidle Housing entity which appears in connection with a specific transaction, product, or feature will be your contracting party for that particular engagement. Your contractual relationship and the applicable terms will automatically update to the Vidle Housing entity and terms relevant to your new location when your country of residence or establishment changes.
22. Legal Jurisdiction and Governing Law
The laws of the State of Florida and the United States of America will govern and interpret these Terms and your use of the Vidle Housing Platform. You agree to bring any legal proceedings arising out of or related to these Terms, your use of the Platform, or any host services exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the state of Florida. You and Vidle Housing consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of these courts as the exclusive forum and waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue on the grounds of inconvenience or otherwise. You expressly waive any and all rights to trial by jury and agree to have all disputes adjudicated by a judge only without a jury. You and Vidle Housing both agree that any claims or disputes will be handled individually, not as part of a class action, consolidated case, or any representative action, including those brought by a private attorney general. Additionally, you and Vidle Housing recognize and agree that, to the fullest extent allowed by law, you are each giving up your right to join as a plaintiff or class member in any class action or similar representative proceeding.
23. Miscellaneous
23.1 Interpreting these Terms
Unless there are additional terms, conditions, policies, guidelines, standards, or in-product disclosures to consider, these Terms outline the complete and exclusive agreement between you and Vidle Housing regarding your access to and use of the Vidle Housing Platform. They replace any previous verbal or written agreements or understandings you may have had with Vidle Housing about this usage. These Terms are not meant to give, and do not give, any rights or remedies to any third party. If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, that part will be removed, but the rest of the Terms will still be in effect. Whenever you see the word “will” in these Terms, it should be understood as creating a binding obligation, similar in meaning to “shall.”
23.2 No Automatic Waiver of Rights
Vidle Housing’s choice not to enforce any right or provision outlined in these Terms doesn’t mean they’re giving up that right or provision, unless Vidle Housing clearly states and agrees to that waiver in writing. Unless specifically mentioned in these Terms, when either party exercises any remedy, it won’t affect their ability to pursue any other remedies available to them under these Terms or the law.
23.3 Assignment of Agreement
You may not assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms or any of your rights or obligations under them without getting written consent from Vidle Housing first. On the other hand, Vidle Housing has the freedom to assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms, along with any rights and obligations, whenever it wants, as long as you receive a 30-days' notice beforehand.
23.4 Official Notices from Vidle Housing
Unless stated otherwise, any notices or communications that you need to receive under these Terms will be sent to you electronically by Vidle Housing. We might deliver these notices through email, messages on the Vidle Housing platform, SMS, or any other contact method you’ve provided and that we support. You agree that receiving these notices electronically meets any legal requirement for written communication.
23.5 Third-Party Services
The Vidle Housing Platform might have links to various websites, apps, services, or other resources that are run by third parties (“Third-Party Services”). Keep in mind that These Third-Party Services come with their own terms and privacy policies, which could be quite different from ours. Vidle Housing doesn’t have control over, endorse, or take responsibility for any part of these Third-Party Services, and we’re not liable for how you use or rely on them.
23.6 GeoApify
Certain features on the Vidle Housing Platform may use certain map functions from GeoApify. Keep in mind that your use of that map is subject to its Terms of Service.
23.7 Content Rights and Restrictions
The content available on the Vidle Housing Platform, which includes trademarks, trade dress, inventions, algorithms, computer programs (whether in source or object code), customer data, marketing materials, and other related content (collectively referred to as “Platform Content”), is likely protected by various laws such as copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and know-how, both in the United States and other countries. You recognize that all intellectual property rights associated with the Platform Content belong solely to Vidle Housing or its licensors. You agree not to remove, change, or hide any copyright, trademark, service mark, or other proprietary rights notices that are included with or attached to any Platform Content. Unless you are the legal owner of such content or have explicit permission under these Terms, you are not allowed to use, copy, reproduce, adapt, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, license, sell, transfer, publicly display, perform, transmit, or otherwise exploit any Platform Content.
23.8 Force Majeure
Vidle Housing will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even with all due care. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, civil or military authority actions, fire, flood, accidents, pandemics, epidemics, outbreaks of disease, labor disputes, or shortages of transportation, fuel, energy, labor, or materials. In any such event, Vidle Housing’s obligations will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure condition.
23.9 Emails and SMS
When you create a Vidle Housing account, you agree to allow us to send you important updates and communications at the email address or contact info you provide. These messages are essential for managing your account and keeping you updated about our Services, and they won't change based on whether you sign up for any email newsletters. If you decide to join additional email lists, you might get specific messages related to those programs alongside our usual administrative emails. You could also receive promotional emails from Vidle Housing. While there's no charge for these promotional messages, keep in mind that your mobile provider's standard data or messaging rates may apply. You can adjust your preferences for promotional emails anytime in your account settings. Just a heads up: some promotions might not be accessible if you turn off certain communication settings or if you don't keep your Vidle Housing account active. If you're in the United States and opt to receive SMS (text message) communications from us, your participation will be governed by our SMS Terms.
