How to Take Payments with Stripe Terminal
Viewcy allows you to accept in-person payments using Stripe Terminal, providing an efficient Point-of-Sale (POS) experience for your customers. Follow these simple steps to set up Stripe Terminal with Viewcy and start taking payments.
Step 1: Link Your Stripe Account
Go to the Business Tools Menu for your organization and select Settings.
Click on Settings and then Payouts.
Ensure that your Stripe account is connected.
Step 2: Order Your Stripe Terminal
To use a Stripe Terminal for ticket sales and add-ons, you must first order a Terminal:
Log in to your Stripe account at Stripe Dashboard.
Order a BBPOS Wise POS E Terminal by visiting the Stripe Terminal Shop.
Step 3: Set Up Your Terminal in Viewcy
On the Settings page in Business Tools, click on + Add a new card reader.
Enter a name for the card reader or leave the default name "Viewcy card reader".
Enter the registration code from your Terminal:
Turn on your Terminal and complete the onboarding setup.
Connect the Terminal to WiFi (use the same WiFi connection as Viewcy).
Once connected, you will see your registration code. If your Terminal has been linked before, swipe from the bottom left of the screen to access Terminal settings. Enter the admin PIN (07139) to access the Generate pairing code page and get the registration code.
Select the location where your card reader will be used or create a new location:
Click Add a new Location to open a form.
Fill in the required fields and click Submit.
Click Save to save your card reader details.
Complete the Setup
Once saved, your card reader setup is complete, and you are ready to start accepting payments.
