Welcome to the guide on streaming events using Viewcy's platform! This article will walk you through the process of setting up and managing your live streams, whether you're broadcasting a live performance or sharing pre-recorded content.

Sections Covered in This Article:

Overview

Viewcy offers flexible streaming options to accommodate various event types, including live performances, workshops, and pre-recorded content. You can choose between RTMP streaming using tools like OBS or Zoom, or integrate video links from platforms like YouTube and Vimeo.

Broadcast Options

RTMP Streaming

RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol) streaming allows you to broadcast live events using streaming software such as OBS Studio or Zoom. This method provides a high level of control over your stream quality and settings.

Video Link Integration

If you have pre-recorded content hosted on platforms like YouTube or Vimeo, you can directly link these videos to your event. This is ideal for sharing recorded performances, lectures, or any content you wish to make available to your audience.

Setting Up Your Broadcast

Note: The RTMP streaming feature is accessible via the Video / RTMP tab in your event settings. If you do not see this tab, please contact us at support@viewcy.com to request access to video streaming capabilities.
