If you are not familiar with how to create images for web use, consult your web developer or logo designer for guidance. To fit properly in the player, use these specs:

  • Image format of jpg or png

  • At least 1140 pixels wide by 720 pixels high

Our online image editor will help you size and crop.

Start by signing into your account on ViewMedica.com. If you don’t remember how to sign in, see our logging in tutorial.

Upload your logo

  1. From your ViewMedica Dashboard, click on ViewMedica On-Demand’s Appearance link. Scroll down to the “Video Load Screen & Brochures” section. Then click on the “Edit” button in the “Logo” area.

  2. On the edit logo screen you just opened, click the “Change/Upload Logo” button. This brings up a menu of options. Select “Upload Logo”.

  3. Now you see the “My Media” window where you can upload your logo image in one of two ways – drag and drop, or find it on your computer.

    Drag and drop
Grab the image from your computer desktop and drag it onto the “My Media” window.

    Find on your computer
Click the “Add New Media” button to bring up your computer’s file structure. Navigate to your logo image file, select it and click “Upload.”

Resize, crop, and save your image

  1. Once your image uploads, a cropping box will display the proper dimensions. Use the “Zoom” buttons or your mouse’s scroll wheel to change the size of the uploaded image. Drag the crop box to move it, or click and drag the blue handles to resize the crop.

  2. When you are finished editing, click the “Crop Image” button. Like the crop? Click “Confirm”. Need to tweak the crop before saving? Click the “Change Crop” button and start again.

  3. If you are happy with the results, click the “Save” button. If you want to continue editing, click the “Change/Upload Logo” button.

The load screen and brochure previews on the Appearance page now show you what your new logo looks like in action. Next time you go to the On-Demand player on your site, your new logo will display. Sometimes you need to close your browser or clear your browser’s cache before this change can be seen.

Note

If you would like to use a text version of your facility name instead, see our tutorial on updating your facility name on the video load screen.
