Required Specs:

  • Accepted file type: .mp4, .m4v, .web, .mov, .avi, or .wmv files.

  • File size: 500MB or less

  • File name: Make sure your video file name doesn't have spaces.

  • The video upload feature is included for some accounts. Others may need to add video upload space to their subscription for an additional fee.

From the loop, presentation, collection, or bumpers builder

  1. Click the "Add Videos" button and select the "Create Video" option.

  2. Click the "Upload Video" template.

  3. Give your video item a title. Use a descriptive name so you or your patients can easily find it. This title will be visible (On-Demand only).

  4. Upload your video. You can drag a video from your desktop and drop it onto the "Add a Video" area in this window. You can also click the "Add a Video" link to upload your video or choose a previously uploaded video from the "My Media" window.

  5. Your video will be uploaded and processed to work best with our system. Depending on the file size, it may take some time for the video file to be processed. Video not uploading?

  6. (Optional) If you have a captions file for this video, you can enter the WebVTT captions URL in the field next to the video preview. Captions not working?

  7. Click the "Save" button in the top right of the screen. Your new slide is added to the bottom of the item list.

  8. Click and drag your slide to any positions in the list.

Note

Your video slides are also available in the "My Saved Videos" section under "Content" in your account. Learn more about managing custom content.

Troubleshooting

If your captions file URL isn't loading, please check that your web hosting platform has appropriate permissions for CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing). Your server must allow requests from viewmedica.com in order to function.
