Start by signing into your account on ViewMedica.com. If you don’t remember how to sign in, see our logging in tutorial.

  1. Go to your VMcast Control Center.

  2. Click on the “Settings” gear icon to the right of the stream name that you want to manage.

  3. On the “Stream Setup” screen, you’ll find the language settings below the stream location map.

Primary language

This will set all of the ViewMedica videos to play in that language in the broadcast loop.

Captions language

This will set all of the captions for the ViewMedica videos to show subtitles in that language in the broadcast loop. When set to “Off,” no subtitles will show on the screen. Set the language of the captions to turn them on. All ViewMedica videos are currently available with English and Spanish subtitles. If you select any other language listed in the “Captions Language” menu, only videos that have subtitles in that language will show those subtitles.

Dual language repeat

This will set all of the ViewMedica videos to play in English and then repeat the same video in Spanish. With dual language repeat set to “On”, you can either default the captions to “Off” or “On.”

Note

The “Primary Language” and “Captions Language” features are not available when “Dual Language Repeat” is on.
