Start by signing into your account on ViewMedica.com. If you don’t remember how to sign in, see our logging in tutorial.

  1. From your ViewMedica Dashboard, click on ViewMedica VMcast’s “VMcast Control Center” link. Here you’ll see all you streams.

  2. Hit the “Edit Stream” button on the stream you want to make the broadcast loop for. Here you will see all four areas of your stream’s TV screen.

  3. Create a new loop by hitting the “+ Add New Loop” button for the Broadcast Area or the “Change” button if there is already a loop assigned there. Select “Create New Loop” from the list of options here. A window will open that has a blank name field. Give it a name. This name will be seen in the ViewMedica menu system. Use a descriptive name so you can easily find it in the VMcast loops menu. hit the “Build Your Loop” button.

    Add ViewMedica videos

To add a video, select the blue “Add Videos +” button. You have some options here. Select “Video Subscriptions” to add a ViewMedica video. Open a library to get to that library’s video list. Find and click on the video titles you want to add to your presentation (you can attach more than one video). Hit the “Add to Loop” button.

    Add your own video

After selecting the “Add Videos +” button, select “Create Video” or “My Saved Videos” to choose from your list of saved videos that you created previously for other loops or presentations. See our tutorials on how to create a YouTube video slide or how to upload your video to ViewMedica.

    Add slides

After selecting the “Add Slides +” button, select “Create Slide” or “My Saved Slides” to choose from your list of saved slides that you created previously for other loops or presentations. See our tutorials on Creating a Text Slide or Creating an Image Slide.

  4. As you add items, they can be grabbed and dragged to new positions in the list. This is how you change the order the loop plays in.

  5. When done, you can preview the stream by hitting the “Preview Stream” button. Ready to send the new loop to your TV? Hit the “Send Changes to TV” button at the top of the screen to immediately update your TV. Otherwise, the loop playing on the TV will update the next time it starts over.

Settings tab

Go to the loop’s “Settings” tab to change these settings:

  • Loop title

  • Set a poster image: Change the poster image used by the loop which defaults to the first slide or ViewMedica video used.
