Analytics is the hub where you can see a variety of key data points in relation to the traffic that is flowing in and around your Viewws Profile. With the data at hand, you can make informed decisions about the way you use the non-monetizable features of Viewws.
Filter 🕰️
Upper Right Icon
This icon is where you can filter a window of time of your analytics.
Your analytics page will automatically show you Today’s analytics but you can switch to a 1 Week or 1 Month view. When choosing the week and month option, your data will be calculated where the end date is the current date and will include all the data earned in the past 1 week or 1 month.
Total Views
This is the summary of how many times your profile has been seen in a given window of time. This will count repeat visitors and will be the number used for all click-through rate data.
Unique Views
This is the summary of how many unique visitors you had on your profile in a given window of time.
What Can Unique Views Tell You?
Utilize your unique views as a way to see how many unique visitors are coming through your Viewws profile.
How can you get more unique Views?
Publish your Viewws link in as many places as possible
Promote your Viewws profile with calls-to-action on social media. Easy examples include:
“Check out my link in bio!”
“Visit my bio for a link to the affiliate code”
“See more in my bio”
Link Clicks
This is the number of clicks you generated across all your social and custom links.
Click Rate
Click Rate is a percentage based on the total number of clicks you received divided by the total number of profile views you received in a given window of time.
What does your Click Rate tell you?
This tells you how much you are converting from viewer to clicker. This means you know how many people came to your Viewws profile but didn’t take the next step in their conversion journey.
Duration Time ⏳
This feature is to show you the average length of time people spend on your Viewws profile. This is done by tracking the total time spent across all the visits to your profile and then divided by the number of unique visitors.
What does Duration Time tell you?
How engaging your Viewws profile is
If you notice an increase in duration, it means that your content on your Viewws Profile is keeping them there longer
Shorter duration time means people are moving through your Viewws profile quicker and going to their intended destination or link
Line Graph
The line graph allows you to see a visual representation of how your data is trending.
How you read the Graph 🤓
The graph can show you a visual comparison on your profile views, unique visitors and clicks. The chart is dynamic and will try to show you a general sense of your high and low points.
A couple rules about the graph 📏
The red “unique” line will never chart higher than the yellow “views” line
The blue “clicks” line will only appear when you have generated an actual click
The blue “clicks” line can rank higher than the red “unique” line if someone clicks multiple links in one visit.
Positive Indicators 😁
All 3 lines keep moving towards the upper right corner ↗
This means you are getting more traffic and they are engaging with your links
The red “unique” line is as close to the yellow “views” line
This means that you have less repeat visitor & more new people into your profile
The blue “clicks” line is as close to or higher than the red “unique” line
This means that people are engaging with multiple things in one sessions
Negative Indicators 🙁
All 3 lines keep moving towards the lower right corner↘
This means you are losing traffic to your page and people are engaging less
The red “unique” line is as far away as possible from the yellow line
This means you aren’t getting new visitors, just the same repeat visitors
The blue “clicks” line is below as far away as possible from the red “unique line”
This means people are coming to your profile but not taking any action after that
Audience
This section allows you to see exactly where your traffic to your Viewws profile originates from. Currently we can identify traffic from different places on the internet like social platforms, websites and search engines like Google.
Why do you want to know about your audience?
Knowing the source gives you knowledge of what place on the internet converts the most visitors
Social Icons ❤️
This helps identify and breakdown the data on individual social links. We have designed this to easily link or attach your handle to the platform’s icon for quick discovery. Only social Icons that have generated at least 1 click will be listed.
KEY TIP: Only Social Icons with at least 1 click will be listed here.
Custom Links 🔗
This helps identify and breakdown the data on individual custom links. You will not only be able to see the impressions each link received but also know how many clicks it generated and the individual click-through-rate for each.
Key Tip: Only links with at least 1 click will be listed here.
What can I learn from this data?
You can see which links are generating clicks
If they aren’t generating clicks, consider why and try different custom link options to make them stand out
You can learn how well your links are converting
Strategy Tip: Try publishing the same affiliate link with 2 different link options (i.e. a banner link vs a text link) to see which one generates higher clicks. This will help you test and optimize your link strategy.
Pro Tip: If you notice certain links aren’t getting visibility, try moving them to the top of your list and see if you start getting clicks.
Devices
This helps you determine where your traffic is coming from by specific device type. Currently we are able to identify between Mobile 📱, Desktop 💻 and Other Devices. Other Devices can be things like a tablet or iPad.
Why does this matter?
By knowing what type of device people are using when interacting with your Viewws profile, will help give you insight on:
How to optimize your visitor experience
What type of content you want to publish on stories
If most of your traffic is from mobile devices, you may want to lean more towards vertical oriented content 📱
If most of your traffic is from desktop devices, you may want to lean more towards horizontal oriented content 💻
